Cowher somehow managed to have a great career win percentage as head coach while sporting quarterbacks such as Brister, O'Donnell, Tomscak, Jim Miller, Kent friggin Graham, Tommy the insurance salesman , Cordell etc. I shudder to think how many Rings cowher would have if he inherited Ben when he began coaching the Steelers. As soon as he finally got a franchise QB, he went 27-4 the first two years which included 4 playoff wins,3 of which were on the road and of course a SB win..Tomlin by and large has Got to work mostly with Superbowl winning quarterbacks in Ben and Russ for 90 percent of his career. By the way winning road playoff games is tough for even the best. Without checking the history books, I believe even the great Tom Brady and Belichick had a losing playoff record on the road . They lost at Denver twice , at Indy in 06, The only road playoff wins were the two in Pittsburgh if memory serves me right and they had to cheat to win . So whatever point you are trying to diminish Cowher on , doesn't really mean much.

You can win with run and stop the run (if you can even do that) against some teams, but not against these high octane Superbowl contenders! That last game against the Bengals was a close game and it got played the Bengals way. The coaching against the top teams is very poor. Many times the dbs are playing way too way off their man or zone so when it's time to make the tackle they miss. If the db or lb makes the tackle as soon as the wr makes the catch they would of stop them for a 1st or got the ball back like in the Eagles game. I believe the talent is there but the coaches need to put the players in the right position to make the play. The team is playing jv football because they have jv coaches.

Trade Watt to clear cap space and get high end picks (especially a 2026 1st round pick). Trade Pickens to get rid of a headache, selfish player and get more picks. Resign Russ for 2 year deal. Sign Tee Higgins and/or Chris Godwin, draft WR first and 2nd round in 2025 to start building office. Trade all the picks you have in 2026 to move up to get Arch Manning. If you don't go all in on a stud QB and have WR weapons on the outside you can't win. They can spend 90% of the cap if they want to on defense and Mahomes will still shred the defense. Have to get offense that puts up 35 a game.

Guys, did you see the replay of the game that the offensive line did and we Russell was doing and how the whole and how the defense was playing against the Chiefs. Did you see that game? How can you say that they can hardly win another game? The offensive line is tired and wore out. They can't even block one time they would look at the film they was running to each other. You can't have no team like that this time of year. This is 7th the 17th week. I don't know what they doing in practice. They must be here sitting in the classroom that need to be on the field learning techniques. They keep saying them get it. They can't get it right because they don't track. They ain't been training. I don't know what the world is doing offense and defense. Yes, Russell did miss some plays too long. It showed that Mike Williams. O-line was terrible and on top the play calling from Arthur Smith! Now and then he woke up and call some good ones. But after one or two first downs back to his broken scripts. Run - run - four straights. Russ had no time? Who cares, maybe he make some wild shot. I'm so sick of this. Yesterdays game looked like a modern NFL pro team against a 80's college unit.
