So, i remember getting Mega Man 3 and my father loved the game...but he was sooooo bad at it. I was just little so i was equally as bad. One day this show came on to give Mega Man 3 passwords and I remember my dad blitzing around the house trying to find a pen and paper. He missed them all because the host talked so fast and he was PISSED. To this day i pick on him about not being prepared and how our Mega Man 3 experience could have been forever altered if he could just had been prepared. Neither of us could remember the name of the show...and after all these years of searching...i found it. I CAN NOT WAIT TO SHOW HIM. Thank you so much for sharing this.

This show hit at just the right tie in my childhood. I had just turned 13 when I discovered this on early morning TV before school. I used to dream of how killer it would be to run through and collect a shiteload of games.

Man- I used to watch this in the morning while getting ready for elementary school. They'd play this, then later on in elementary school the Conan cartoon, or James Bond Jr. Then eventually the power rangers. But I remember that I used to watch this and dream of doing one of those little sprees where you can keep whatever you can take.

I knew absolutely nobody who owned a Neo Geo system back in the early 90's. They were the price of a PC in those days.

Yeah and games for $200 a pop in early 90s dollars; about double that in today's dollars. One of my fellow contestants (we got to hang out a lot in between recordings) mentioned he had a Neo Geo. And a classmate at the time (8th grade) told me his cousin owned one. Those are the only other "back in the day" Neo Geo owners I've heard of.

Season 1 (1990-91) was more akin to such cartoon shows as Mister T (1983-85) and The Super Mario Bros. Super Show (1989). That's why I like this second and final season better, as it's more reminiscent of Starcade (1982-84).

In the NY Metro area it was on Channel 9, WOR. It aired at either 6:00 or 6:30 (I forget which) in the morning on weekdays.

Some exist here on youtube, but your old VHS tapes could be holding the lost episodes missing from the archives. Was always a dream of mine as a 4 year old to run that maze. I can only resort to nostalgia and the rare chances I find old episodes here online that still exist. There's no level of jealously I can express that you got to run it yourself. It must've been a blast!

I wasn’t the smartest - I just got lucky that it was the secret prize, and kids in the audience yelled instructions to me on where to find Pat Riley’s Basketball. 😅 I do still have the Neo Geo, but the video output is garbled. Some nice folks on the AtariAge forums have been offering suggestions on how to fix. So stay tuned...

Objects in the first level are purple and you have to turn them red or move them (shutters to the nursing home, bird on Jebediah Springfield's shoulder, etc). So in other words, he screwed up. I recall one episode where one kid lost, he got him some game on Game Boy, and the kid was like, "I don't even have a Game Boy..." and he was just in a hurry to get him off the set.
