90's marketing exploits that's reflecting a period of two weeks in the first year of the 90's when everyone wore bike shorts. We immediately stopped doing that and went after Saddam.

I did as well, having been born in 1982. This show was one of the rare "Cannot Miss" shows amidst the overabundance of Saturday morning viewing fodder. I did find it a little odd how JD Roth's sidekick, generic early 1990's surfer bro, Brennan, inexplicably vanished into the ether mid season, but that didn't stop the show from being the buffer for me, between Saturday morning cartoons and early afternoon Pro-Wrestling. Back in these days, even the shortest glimpse of a video game on television was like televised gold for kids my age. I mean, take the movie, The Wizard for instance... Most film critics complained that there was way too much video game footage, and movie basically served as a full length advertisement for Nintendo. Most of my friend's primary complaint with the film? "They didn't show ENOUGH video games!!!!"

This JD Roth guy is boring and obviously couldn't carry the show on this own. Which is why they brought in Brennan. After that the show became a little more easier to watch.
