Yeah its sad actually...factory alarm as minimum and sometimes a tracking unit is what insurance requires and thats it. I remember about 10 years ago,I went to get case number for insurance for damage to sunroof (this was an aftermarket sunroof on my then VR6 Golf) anyway looked like they tried to get acces through sunroof or just broke sunroof for vandalism reason I wont know...the cop doing the statement told me I need to do something to prevent then from doing it LOL...the mere fact that they went to sunroof is cos they could see that every other acces point has detection sensors on it,including bonnet and boot...those sensors would not work on sunroof as there was no place to actually put it but the normal interior sensor is sufficient to compensate(I was just thinkong,ai Mr Policeman you dont know what you talking about,just give me my case number for insurance)....point is the security system was better than factory and as good as it was gonna be and cop still had that comment😂

Your knowledge is laughable you can't hot wire new cars that work with key signal and rolling code to unlock power to the starter. You use technical devices to complete that task so yes they did somewhat hack the computer box. Cars today are like computers not old style from madala days

@Matsiong_RSA9 ай бұрын
@danielsteyn7464 I'd like to apologize for the harsh words and retract them. @joecruiser yes I do although it's not my profession. Leading by example is out of play here. It's all our duties as citizens to add to what the police and parties involved are doing...until they've got an independent capacity to uphold that duty on their own. It's not great now. But have hope it will change because of men like this that say their last goodbyes everyday to keep us all safe to certain elements. Myself @joecruiser and @danielsteyn7464 should be working together to be apart of the solution and not adding to the problems. We can't use platforms like this for ego battles...we can rather do that against lawlessness. Not correcting people for every loophole of fault we see
