I hiked this in early July when portions of the trail were wet or ankle deep in mud due to snowmelt. I always enjoyed hiking at Brainard Lake Rec Area.

If you think it is impossilbe to get Mitchell Lake parking passes, you should have seen how hard it was to get into Brainard Lake even with the pass. We were practically detained like at Guananimo trying to get in because they didn't believe the email on my phone. We had to go into a 'wi-fi' zone to download a code and then return back to the front gate -- only to then be given the 3rd degree again. That's why I was pointing at the pass at the end of the video -- that thing was strangely hard to get. AmIRight Nick?
