If you get items that are not stackable, maybe you can skip the item room and when you go to Dogma, reroll them into another Item and treat it as a new floor on the way up!

Mars is no longer a combat item due to the 1 second delay, it's more useful as utility for the invincibility bubble for blood donos, demon beggars, and the like. It also cancels if you input any direction while flashing, including the same direction, so you either need to hold it down or let it go.

As far as i know, with the new Mars, if you input another direction(might only be opposite direction) while it is preparing to dash, the charge will be cancelled(this was added to make it so you dont dash on accident)

I got an idea, Hutts. What if you'd roll the item for each floor at the start of the run, and thanks to that, you could choose for example if you want to go with the items rolled for alt path or regular path, and later you could decide if you should go choose the dark room or the chest, knowing what items they will hold

Sacrificial Egg gives you better minions the longer you can go without getting hit, so it's a very strange item. Like a Smart Fly that can spawn a Vis and instakill a boss

hey how about every item per floor is the first item you get in the floor challenge? the first item you came across in the floor will decide which item you will get for that floor. This way you can let the game roll the dice. The quality may be worse but you have the power to choose the pool.
