I'd love to see an actual mod for this that has a bit of balancing to it, make it so you never get a buttload of active items and make it so only passive items that stack show up

Imagine a pair of buttons in the starting room labeled “active” and “passive” respectively. So you have to decide when you want to take an active item during a run - and you have the option to hit the active button again on a lower floor if you roll into something bad. It’s a gamble, though, since you’d be forgoing a passive item for that floor.

i think some kinda of reroll option would add a lot to this series. Either like autoreroll if something isn't stackable, or if thats too strong, give like 1 reroll per floor if you roll an item you dont want

Love this challenge idea. I like it differently from the every item is because you can wind up with a bit of synergy that builds up floor to floor. Like this one where we slowly built up a melee build. So much fun to watch

As for saying well they added planetariums to mitigate missing item rooms, not sure if it has been changed but planetariums have one of the lowest priority when generator a floor, so there is a chance one doesn't spawn even with 100% chance.

Would be interesting to see a version of this series where you restrict the quality by chapter, like quality 0 items for basement and caves and then step up the item quality until you're on the final chapter getting quality 4s per floor. Would be a hard challenge with a gratifying and earned climax.

You should really play with the mod that adds like 25 synergies between stacking items! I know it’s not a lot out of the 700 items in the game, but it makes just tad bit more exciting For example, that mod makes Charm of the vampire stack. And it’s the heal effect that changes. I think at like 11 stacks, you heal half a heart on every kill.

I think you should be able to reroll the per floor passive if it doesn't stack in any way or get a once per floor reroll that you'll be able to bank and go gambling on the final floor
