for me it was different, in some of the character's actions you identify yourself, be it being betrayed by colleagues who said they were friends, being unfairly accused as the "only" being seen as a bully when people don't even give you the chance to get to know them and already categorize you like buly and many other things, honestly, at some point in my childhood, I believe that someone may have gone through one of the things I mentioned.

Those new to the anime scene or even anime movies. Or if your just into something simular to "The Silent voice" i recommend "Josee, the Tiger and the Fish" not as impactful in certain regards. But still an amazing watch. Anime movie came out in 2020 but theres also a live action that came in 2003 if youd be into that. Watch on friends.
