I was diagnosed with my 3rd cancer this year. Endometrial, breast and now colon. I’ve been diligent in getting pap, mammograms and colonoscopies so they’ve been caught early but, insurance needs to change the rules for families that have these types of cancer. The colon cancer has been the worse. The Goodwil bins are 1 1/2 hrs away but there is a Bin & pallet store 5 miles away where the price is higher the first day down to $1 on the 6th day. Clothes $3. Everything is new which I like better.

We haven’t used those paper notes in Australia since the 1980s lol 😂 they are truly vintage money. We swapped the bits for $2 coins 😁👍

Your "doorstops" are drapery tie backs and are well over 100 years old. I'm glad they were rescued. A small chip can be overlooked with something so beautiful.

I am so grateful for your comment and information about these awesome treasures. I thought that they were door stops because of the metal piece, and I checked eBay and there are others for sale there that say door stops, but drapery tie backs make more sense. Glass door stops aren't practical ☺️. Thank you so much for watching ☺️

I think the things you thought were door stops are actually curtain tie backs. My Grandmother had some very similar in her living room.
