That’s a testament to paslode that a gun that old can be serviced & able to work again. (Although you are probably the best at getting things working properly). Well done.

I do feel a profound sorrow for your parts washer after washing that lot into it 😢 Its probably wondering what it did to annoy you so badly that you would wash something like that in it 😂😂😂😂 Amazing job, Sir!!!!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍

On those 360s, wouldn't it be a benefit to take the back off and put a few drops of oil down the chamber every so often? Actually you said as much later in the video, on the last one that had the new spark unit.

Hey Dean for the older style paslode o-rings, the hitachi NR90GC o-rings fit and they're half the price
@deandohertygreaser9 ай бұрын
Very good point, you are right.
@jameshendrix82179 ай бұрын
@@deandohertygreaser and I think the makita gas gun orings fit as well, but they are more expensive than the hitachi but still less than the paslode.. Anyway I use the hitachi orings to fix the older style paslodes because paslode prices are ridiculous.

I would have given up on that IM350 the moment I opened that back cover, that much corrosion on aluminum is just crazy. But respect for getting it up and running again! Also what parts you need for the Senco's ? I work at a Dutch hardware store that does service/repair Senco machines and we can order straight from Senco NL so I might be able to help you out on a one time base to get you the parts for the machines you have laying around. Tjep is a whole different story though, they only have standard service kits (o-rings/seals) but nothing like fire pins or any of that stuff.
@deandohertygreaser9 ай бұрын
Thanks for the offer, very much apprivated. But I need a supplier here in Ireland. The tjep and senco are basicly the same gun. Most pasts will be interchangeable

22 EURO! for a tiny bit of rubber that costs literal pennies to make. that's criminal. Even with the overhead of supplying it as a single item in a plastic bag, shipping it, stocking etc. There is no way that part should cost more than €5.
@jmswilliams709 ай бұрын
tbh senco is crap anyways. i don't think any one uses them anymore. the last senco gun i used was the 701 and was absolute junk that just fell apart.
@northcanterburylogging3039Ай бұрын
If Senco don't supply parts and service but sales. Then the sale of Senco products should be banned pretty simple un warranty and service laws.

It's an infrared barrier, generally Way more reliable than an electric contact, but you have to consider the electricity consumption of the infrared led, + the product need to be designed correctly to avoid dust and/ humidity/ corrosion.. .
@deandohertygreaser9 ай бұрын
They are not designed to be used in power tools like these. A tried and tested electrical switch would be more reliable. These are not very well designed as they they are a common failure in these guns.
@electrickal19 ай бұрын
I could repair those IR switches, they could easily be sorted and save lots of money on buying new ones.
