Was gonna save a few thousand and go 501a but I figured if I'm spending that kind of money on a truck I might as well get what I want. 502a has the nice heated rear seats and steering wheel feature too! Since I'm in Canada and its winter pretty well....that's important. Love the videos love the amg. Keep it up👍

I agree with you. Sometimes the fit and finish of aftermarket parts is just not the greatest. Those that pay attention to details & get it just right are winners for sure. That being said, OMG does that grill look even more MEAN. Kudos 🙌🏼

I think I'm liking this piece a little better than the rear diffuser to be honest. *Also, maybe on future appearance mods you could add a side-by-side before-and-after shot so we can really see the difference it makes. Just a quick suggestion. :)

jkx22 - I agree with all you say. Don't forget Mike did show a before & after for mod#1, the rear diffuser. I'm half expecting Mike to do the same on his next vid on the front appearance after this 'sneak-peak'... Mike, I'm seeing a few comments (constructive criticism - lol?!) on the rear diffuser, some not saying why.... Here's my take, and this in total support/constructive criticism (with only occasional gentle teasing...!) I get your appreciation of contemporary high-end AMG MB and all your/AMG MB's attention to detail of the original build and your subsequent mods, so even before I saw today's mod#2 (looks spot-on!), I was a little surprised at the appearance of mod#1. Compared with the rest of the car and your 'style', it looks just a little bit too chunky, especially the width/thickness of the verticals. Also, in the side view that you showed, the amount that these same verticals stick out, both down and rearward - it seems to jarr a little with the more subtle lines of the rest of the car. Especially when, as I did, you look at the side view starting from the nose and then follow the lines of the car from front to rear, those new diffuser verticals don't quite fit in. I get looking mean, but the rear is just a little bit too brutal thro' those verticals being a bit chunky & heavy. This was more like a decision StreetSpeed717 would make! At your age(!) and with your much greater experience and better judgement, I would have thought you'd have known better...! Your decision on mod#2 at the front confirms my view (StreetSpeed717 would have powder-coated the original grille or something like that..?!) though I wouldn't put up with the attachment issues. I would have been straight onto their help-line back at the shop while the front bumper was still off and then perhaps vlog how they responded to and hopefully resolved the issue to your 100% satisfaction. Mike, I do love your vlogs and your humanity as much I do your vehicles and what you do to/with them!

Looks sick Mike! I don't know where you got the grill from but I think that you can contact them and ask for a refund and it works most of the time. BTW, please trade in the F-150 for a raptor so you have a 4 cylinder, 6 cylinder and an 8 cylinder :) How awesome would that be?

Subtle mods like that are the best....looks good to me. I wonder if you could sneak a couple zip ties somehow into the grill piece out of sight to firm it up? As for the F150, I like the lariats spec'd with the sport pkg (with the mesh grill, etc) but they get up there in price pretty quickly. I don't know if I could swing the cost over an XLT.

If your going to buy a Ford truck to actually use it as a truck, you may want to reconsider. The beds are crap. We are farm country and my bed is flat & sagging. Neighbor sat water tank in his and tore a 4' gash in the bed taking it out. Have 20+ year old Ford trucks better constructed. Aluminum beds aren't making it.

Bed liner spray isn't going to matter with inferior metal. The beds are aluminum and if you haul anything heavy it damages the bed. I'm in the process of getting a 3/16" 4'x8' steel plate to drop in. At the rate I'm going, there will be nothing left of the bottom.

Why are you going to go through insurance? Wont that increase your monthly payments? Something similar happened to my mom and my parents didn't go through insurance. It was a similar estimate but their deductible is $1,000 so it doesn't make any there is no point in going through insurance.

Reguarding the mods, i Think the rear diffuser looks spotless. Not vulgar, just a more angrier oem look. And the grill looks mean..really mean. 😁 But the fittment issue would disapoint me when the retail is 995$. If it where more like 300$ i wouldent care so much but for 995$ i would expect better fitment. Its not huge in the way you noticed it by just watching. But Maby it will get worse over time and in high speed? Maby give the Company a call and develop the product? Culd be a start of a long term sponsor deal?! 😉 Btw. The New intro looks really good. Hey!! Big fan of your videos, it's relaxing to watch. Two things I wanted to ask you, why not get a Raptor? I know, the Lariat is nice, the other F150's are also nice, but the Raptor stands out. You could complete the "beasts" collection :) Second, it's a shame the grill mod doesn't fit properly. I would just ask for a refund and that's it. For that much money and for such a high end car, to have that shitty thing not snap on properly... I admire you for your patience, I reallly do! When I had my 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium AWD, I had installed the OEM Ford Mondeo (Australia) Upper and lower grilles. These parts were far from fitting and serious modifications had to be performed. I had to remove upper bumper bracket mounts that are on the Mondeo grill which are not on the US grille. Also, the mounting tabs did not line up and a good chunk had to either be modified or removed to fit. So even OEM parts from overseas may not be 100% fitting.

Plus, I'm sure that CF grill piece was not cheap. You paid good money for it and it took 3 months. Me personally, I would expect it to be perfect. Keep up the great vids man!

If you are looking for great aftermarket parts for German cars, it's best to purchase from Germany as I have never, every had a problem with fitment from an German aftermarket company such as Lorinser or Peicha which take great pride in making aftermarket parts for German cars.

I didn't notice it but would have if I was in your shoes. I bought a brand new Alienware 15 laptop last year. I immediately noticed a flaw in the bezel around the screen. This should be a premium laptop. I don't feel that way. The plastic appears to be glued to the screen and there is a part of it that is not glued and there is a gap. I will be selling this laptop and sticking to a custom built PC and Mac for everything other than gaming. If I pay for premium than I expect premium. In your case, If it was me I would consider returning it and going else where because even though no one will be able to tell, what if some how pressure from wind in PA (not sure how bad it can be) put enough pressure on the surrounding clips over time and cause damage and possibility breaking them and than you would have to get a new one at that time? I am OCD and this is my problem but I also look at the what ifs down the road. What could happen? Hopefully nothing. The C63s is nice. I haven't put anything on my C300 but this is why.

Nice mod and good to see less chrome on your C63s. Also agree on your comments about Modecarbon , the quality of their product is as good as OEM. Not sure what's your next mod but I'd recommend a satin black wrap or Xpel Stealth... keep up the good work !

Screw anyone who says you can't (or shouldn't) point out anything negative about a product you bought with your own money. 100% Satisfaction is in the eye of the beholder. That can be calculated in a number of different ways. And since you 'voted' with your own cash, you get to decide what elements you like or don't like about the product. Whether you give it a glowing recommendation across the board, or you voice a constructive criticism about a particular issue, it's absolutely your right to do so. That kind of free speech should never be discouraged by anyone. Good or bad it all needs to be out there, so that other interested parties can truly make the best informed buying decisions.

I own a 2016 F150 Limited and I would stay away from the panoramic roof. My roof has a rattle in it that they can't seem to get fixed. 70K for the top of the line truck and they told me that it's a design flaw that can't be fixed. BTW, I enjoy your channel and wish you all the best.

I think it looks great. The fitting issues are a nuisance and hopefully the company will reach out to you with a solution. It's good PR for them if they make you happy because you would surely mention that they did it.
