this racket is not so normal for me. what i mean is it just felt very easy to use. i remember i picked it up and used it for the 1st time and i felt like home despite having 0 experience with victor equipment. very unique this racket. there was no steep learning curve for me

Hi Becky! Do you happen to know if the Thruster F is written made in china is it fake? I noticed yours is made in taiwan.

I'm not sure. Mine was bought in Taiwan so that's why it said so, but I think they make rackets in different places. Mine also came with a "authentication certificate" which had a QR code to check. Did you get anything like that?

This is THE racket, trust me! 👌👀 Do you still use Li Ning No.1 as well? I tried black and it was great. But the stringer ran out and used orange the next time. They kept moving.

Yeah, this racket is strung with Lining #1. Azhi, the stringer and I had a long conversation about what color to choose, haha. How long have you been using the racket?

I did not enjoy the No.1 strings. I guess I should have asked for yellow or white.

@Badminton Becky Only since last September. The only downside for me, is that it feels a split second slower in defence and at the net compared to my Nanoflare 800. The Thruster is better all around, but the Nanoflare is better if you have a partner with a big smash.

@Hi! T! Which colour did you have and why didn't you like it? The black ones had crazy repulsion 🤪 and the strings made a loud noise when I did a smash. But I found that I had to play every net shot using spin, otherwise the shuttlecock would go too high.

@1Flyingfist I used red, & teal blue. Not enough repulsion. I prefer Gosen 5; Yonex BG80 & Areobite. I am an intermediate player who plays more at the rear court.

I actually use quite a lot of victor products e.g. 5 victor rackets, 5 victor shorts, 5 victor shoes. Mixed experience with those. But what i do not like about victor products are the shuttlecocks, shirts, bags... i guess it is individual preference

Of the major brands I think I have more Yonex clothing but I prefer the Victor styles.

I use Yonex rackets. I have tried some Victor rackets; I don't want to use multiple brands. I use Victor bags & shuttlecocks which I enjoy. I buy based on shuttle speed & goose feather as they will last 2-3 games. When I try spending $2-4 less on a tube of shuttles I find I use more shuttles per session as 1 shuttle lasts maybe 1 game. Incorrect shuttle speeds means the shuttle will be too slow & will not go far enough on clears. Players will try to compensate by hitting it harder to make it go farther which will lead to injuries.

Hahah, yeah that was me! If I was sitting then that's when I was sooo tired and done playing for the day. They need to turn on the a/c! It was so uncomfortable and hot yesterday. Heard the a/c goes on June 1st.

@@BadmintonBecky yes 530 am 3 days a week here in the US. Many of those in the group I am in have been doing this for more than a decade. It takes dedication. How do you like the racket ? I was using this racket to replace my jet speed I really liked it !
