Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

YES! We finally have a definitive Marvel Legends Venom that doesn't cost me 100-120$! I really hope we get a definitive comic-type Marvel Legends Green Goblin, he's literally the most popular Spider-Man-related antagonist and IS Spider-Man's archnemesis, the last one was outdated as hell (the Sandman Wave one, I don't count the Retro).

I have the old Abomination wave and the Knull 2-pack. Personally I think this could finally be it. It's such a nice middle ground between simple with enough details going for it, all while still maintaining the bulked up stocky proportions of that first appearance of the character.

I basically have this exact figure by putting the smiling marvel select venom head on the last marvel legends riot threepack venom. It takes some heating up to get it to fit but it was worth it!

I wonder if we are getting another classic Spider-Man?. I know a lot of people will groan about anothe one ,but Ive not been overly impressed with previous versions. I need a really good Romita jr one ,it's the height and proportions and web pattern that I'm so picky about. The final swing NWH is close,but there are too many deviations from the original. I also need a great Parker head sculpt,look how many Logan has lol.

Looks good! Head, fists, clawed hands. Good chest-spider (and no animation blue highlights). I can live with the hinted at forarm tentacles. (But that Giger-Alien-Tongue head is going STRAIGHT to the auction site! It's impossible to talk with you tongue sticking out. It's impractical to have your tongue sticking out with a mouth full of dagger-like teeth. One spider-punch slamming your jaw shut and that Giger-Alien tongue will be on the floor. "Souvenir?" ). The original depctions of Venom didn't have the tongue of Harry Gigler's 'Alien'.

Looking at this new Venom figure I'm going to have to go with this as my definitive Venom figure for my collection because I'm definitely going to get this guy when he comes out I'm also going to get the vintage collection Carnage as well so I'll have both of the Symbiotes together if I had to pick one thing to change about this Venom figure I would have to go with giving him a new Eddie Brock head sculpt but other than that this figure is pretty much Flawless in my opinion and I can't wait to get it along with the vintage collection Carnage

I own the movie version figure, and it's still one of my favorites in my (admittedly, modest) collection. I really love the head sculpts on this guy, though I don't know how I feel about the molded goo on the arms. In another Venom fig maybe, but this is clearly going for more classic comic look, so I find this detail a little strange. Regardless, going to be on the lookout for this one. Can not argue with the 25 dollar price point.

How long does it have to take to get a completely new venom sculpt based off of the original macfarlane look? This is an easy pass for me because I know we will get the real deal one of these days. The best venom figure marvel legends has ever made is hands down the king in black. I don’t even display him with the wings and he’s perfect.
