*You’re totally right Shart, on the King in Black omnibus hardcover, Knull has these exact wings. And Venom’s wings are usually depicted as folding wings with a sharp point at the top. Hasbro botched the wings, and yes it looks like you did more research than their entire team.*

My husband just gave this 2 pacl to me today as a Christmas gift! I love it!!!!! I am the BIGGEST Venomaniac in the world, and this being the first rendition of Knull in plastic along with a Winged Venom, I couldn't be HAPPIER!!! I agree with you that I wish the Wings would port into Knull as well, or even included a second set of wings for both figures, but what can I do? I do love that you got your Knull customized to port in the wings they look amazing! And wow, the wings were EXTREMELY hard to get to stick into my Venom figure. But your suggestion to heat it up, I used a hair dryer, worked really well and the wings now stay in with no problem at all, but if I get even a little rough, the right shoulder wing pops out too easily, I think a second heat treat would fix that problem, but it's already on my shelf. Maybe if I rearrange the shelves in the future I'll work on the wing with more heat, but for now it's staying as is! The Necro Sword is beautiful!!!! I am so happy to get an authentic looking All Black the Necrosword!!!! Yeah, I really couldn't be happier this afternoon! Seriously, what a great set! And on Amazon, the Beast and Root of all Evil, there are some kf this two packs available for cheaper than 80 bucks. I think mine cost $67 + tax, free 2 day shipping! Great review!

You're right about Knulls symbol, it doesn't make sense, Peter was subconsciously influenced by Julia Carpenter's Spider-Woman costume when the symbiote basically copied her costume save for the thigh high white parts and open mouth/hair parts of the mask, I can't see the connection between the 2 things at all, it's like someone didn't know where Peter took his inspiration from.

I can't wait to get this 2 pack. I've wanted a modern venom 4 some time now that wasn't using the Hyperion body mold and have fell in love with knull. I was lucky enough 2 meet Ryan stegman the artist and creator of knull and has just kept building on how awesome knull is plus Ryan was a super cool guy

My gripe with the Venom figure is that the spider-emblem is too big, and disappears into the ab crunch at the waist, cutting off the bottom of it (front and back, too boot). Compare it to the Poundz custom, which got it right. Why was that so hard, Hasbro? For those inflated prices, that is a detail for which there is no excuse not to get right. It's just sloppy. I'll be using that Poundz custom as reference to correctly paint my Hasbro one.

Crazy that I bought the movie Venom for $20, which is the same mold...I can't see the paint apps, the wings and Knull a reason to throw an extra $60 for this $80 set. I know people have already proved they are willing to pay anything for figures, but I am not one of them, I buy atvretail only and to me this is a hobby, not a priority, these price bumps from Hasbro are slowly making me step away from the game. As much as I wanted to complete the Reavers, Syrin was the only figure I wanted, at $25 a figure before tax, I passed to the whole wave too. Only wanted Syrin and Bonebreaker, if that wave had Wolfsbane and Ferral, I would've considered it but damn... Days of collecting to me are numbered.

I'm not a huge Venom/symbiote fan, but at the same time, as a collector I want the comic version of the character and there are about three versions that I need, the wings wasn't necessary but they are freaking cool.. So I'm happy with this addition, it's getting my money where as other venom figures didn't.

Dots in the white squares are not always present in every interpretation of comic Venom. Mark Bagley often draws dots on the white squares but many Venom artists draw only white squares.

I'd like to know how the wings factor into the price. Because honestly I could do with the things. Figure with these huge wings and no flight stand raise and eyebrow. At least these can fold in (Cough NECA Gargoyles). It just feels like "You can get this Movie Venom with the real design but......". I'd rather have the Brock head from the Amazon three pack. Then the next bit is. They sold Venom solo before at $20. Is Knull a $60 figure? Is he a $50 or $40 figure? I don't feel he is given the lack of paint apps an accessories. Same with Venom. $30 at best if we must include the wings. Based on the images I'm seeing, seems like Venom should have some swords/axes of his own. I like them. I think they definitely are top 15 for 2022. But that's price point is maybe $20 to $30 too high for what we actually get. Right now that just seems to be the way to describe Hasbro. The price is too high for what we are getting. Either the price needs to come down or we need to get more(be it paint, plastic quality, or accessories).

I love This set so much. At frost I thought $77.99 was a bit much. But after having the figures in hand I think I can justify that price point since they’re both really tall figures, have excellent body molds, and Knull had a fantastic new sculpt that’s just beautiful, and those giant wings that span out at a Foot? I think it’s safe to give them that price for being big figs and having a gigantic accessory like the wings

Venom definitely the highlight of this set for me. It such an awesome looking figure. Knull looks pretty mediocre. Paint apps look bland and the overall figure just leaves something to be desired.

Man I really wish hasbro did the anniversary line for both the first spider-man and amazing spider-man films, I would get all of the figures if they’ve done those films for both trilogies. The main reason they didn’t do that because Sony still owns spider-man which explains why in 2020 they did the anniversary line for the fox x-men films.
