That happens in lots of government jobs all the time. I have experienced this many times for city jobs. You can tell they are unethical because they violate FOIA laws. I caught one HR rep violating laws because she could not explain why she hired less qualified people over me. Now she is mad because I outed her for doing it.

You need to do reports like this on sports. Some people make it off who they know and not how hard they actually work. A lot of student athletes have parents who are teacher/coaches and get played more than others. Some also have family members that sponsor teams and likely get more playing time because of it.

This happens all over the world. It’s very common to see companies hiring people who know someone within. I do it all the time. My small business is run entirely by people that I know personally or who was recommended by someone I know. I hired someone off the street once in my life. Never again. It’s always about who you know not what you know.
