Mega evolutions are one of my favorite things in the Pokemon games, and today we get to see which Mega Evolution would win in a Battle Royale! This video is actually insane, and I am going to be pulling for Mega Sableye even if I know Mega Rayquaza or Mega Mewtwo are more likely to win.

@@invividcolor Each battle royale takes the Pokédex entries into account more than in game stats, though sometimes they will. Obviously a Mudkip isn’t gonna beat Mega Rayquaza. Unless you’re Alpharad and injected it with every steroid known to man.

Rayquaza does in fact eat asteroids and particles in the air. This also implies he eats Minior that fly around in orbit. Deoxys also lives in meteors, implying Rayquaza sometimes eats random Deoxys, hence their mini rivalry.

Audino at the end was a Pokemon TCG reference. Kangaskhan's win rate was based on how good it was competitively. Tyranitar took all those hits because according to the pokedex it just doesn't take damage.

Yeah the data actually took everything into account I believe, if I remember the explanation vid right (watch that btw). So it went by competitive stats, pokedex entries, and even the cards, which is how Mega Audino got that far, because its card was busted back then lol

Two generations later, and I still can’t forgive them for removing Mega Evolutions. Hands down was/is my favorite feature ever added. I wish they would’ve just kept the feature, even if it was just for the Pokemon available in the region(s).

Audino’s one of the strongest megas. You really can’t kill an Audino unless you use toxic. Audino’s not very used because it doesn’t have amazing offensive prowess. Everyone likes offensive prowess.

Neither Kangaskhan nor Mega Kangaskhan has any entry in it's pokedex that is incredible enough for it's placement... it's just that parental bond is a broken ass ability competitively and that's why it is in third place.

A lot of these are based off of Dex entries and lore of the Pokemon across the different Generations/Games and even their meta from a competitive TCG standpoint, not necessarily off of their general stats alone. So you end up with things like how Mega-Sceptile can fire the end of its tail like a missile, Mega-Alakazam is hyper-intelligent but is super glass-cannon frail, Mega-Glalie's jaw is essentially perpetually broken open as it spews out blizzards, Mega-Aradactyl (spelling) painfully has spines growing all over its body, Mega-Salamence and Mega-Garchomp are essentially always in a pain-filled rage, Mega-Sharpedo is basically always losing its teeth, and so on. And with Mega-Audino pulling out it's own Pokemon Card, it was a reference to the competitive side of the card game and how Mega-Audino is on par with the likes of Mega-Rayquaza when used right in the TCG aspect.

Having Rayquaza eating the meteor was probably a call-back to the Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire games because Rayquaza is the only Pokemon that doesn't get a Mega-stone. Instead, you keep the meteor that Team Magma/Aqua stole from Professor Cosmo and in the Delta story arc, you toss the meteor to Rayquaza who eats it and turns to Mega-Rayquaza so you can then ride it into space and stop the meteor about to destroy the planet and face Deoxsys.
