fun fact: all of these Pokemon come out of Ultra Balls since that's the one most players use when not using the Master Ball but, speaking of, there is one Pokemon that comes out of the Master Ball at the beginning.

so, there's a video that explain the whole thing but short story long: necrozma kill Dialga and Palguia who are the rulers of space and time, ao when that happens it creates two alternative timelines/universes, one where necrozma kills arceus(Aka the pokemon god) and a second one where Arceus deletes necrozma and wins.
