They’re supataps all right. There are a mk1 and mk2 versions both with slightly different washers if I remember correctly,so get the correct spares. And yes you could do maintenance on them without shutting off supplies. Can’t remember fitting new taps but did do rewashering . They appeared on bath,washbasin and high neck sink taps. I think,but can’t be sure, when automatic washing machines first arrived on the scene, Supatap did an adapter that hooked over the wings of the tap.

8mm speed fit reducers can help with jobs like that. Supa taps! you can rewasher them without turning the water off .

What an excellent video, which was interesting and very well presented. You did a great job sorting that micro bore junk out to get a decent looking result. You’re right, those Bosch bit are good, but, as you say, they do have a fair grab that can catch you unawares! I think those bath taps are Supatap brand, and their feature was you could change the washer without turning off the supply; I could be wrong of course!

Fair play mate. Never easy messing under floors. Looks an old Victorian terrace too so the walls can be like digestive biscuits and nothing tends to be level! Gotta admit… confused the hell out of me with them rad valves…. Had to give my head a wobble then got what you meant haha! Keep up the vids mate your a good laugh to watch! Least I know I’m not the only one that goes through all this in the daily!

Would the heating be warmer just because you did the rad ends in 15 mill...? how when the rest of the pipework is still 8/10 mill.........?and if not, why bother doing that....? just for looks....? thanks, new subscriber...

Hi 👋🏻, and no the heating wouldn’t be hotter because I upgraded the pipework no, it just looks better and is more hard wearing if it gets knocked etc. thank you!

I really dont understand youtube...theres lads like you and another i like ( plumb like tom) who make full length videos imparting kwowledge and trkcks and tips who struggle for likes...then you have the influencer type who show no reall plumbing who do 30 sec heres a product i got given free type videos with no reall effort with more likes. I just dont get it.
