Fingers crossed for you mate… you’re doing it all right…. Help people understand stuff even me being in the building trade and also adding a bit of humour into things. Younger plumber/gas apprentices should be made aware of channels like yours as it helps them expand their knowledge, and see what it’s really like in the field and not on a college bench! 👍 top man

Them low energy pump are always getting seized up if they're not used for a while. I generally try to unseize them with the screw in the centre. Once they get going, they usually carry on moving. Its always the underfloor heating as it doesnt run in the summer months...
@Heatking6 ай бұрын
Yeh you’re right mate. I did try and free them off via the screw in the centre on a previous visit but unfortunately they wouldn’t move :(

Top work. Most annoying thing when changing those cartridges is accidentally snapping off the water pressure sensor, they get so brittle on the older boilers.
@Heatking6 ай бұрын
I’ve never done that yet mate but you now know what’s coming next time I do one 🤦🏽♂️😂😂😂

Trying to replace the plastic water pressure sensors in general are a pain, always snap and your left picking plastic out the threads…not fun and not quick aha!

Well i didn't know you could do that FFS where you just push the snapped cartridge out from the bottom. All this time it's been snapping off i thought you had to replace the whole thing. just got a new one to fit on Thursday bought and paid for and now ill have to just use the cartridge and be left with the rest of the valve.
