I remember the Hags from early sixties hanging on the wall in the local music where I was taking accordion lessons. Those guitars and of course some Fenders made me quit the squeeze box and start guitaring. That’s a nice one for sure!

I have the Viking gold top and i am still just blown away with how good it is, not even considering its only 800.-ish. I pick it over my gibson everyday. Looking to get some more hagstrom's!

I have an Ultra Swede I can recommend. Hoping to play a new gen Swede one day. Swede over Super Swede for me for the 24.75 scale.

Very sweet guitar Leonard! I have settled on an EART 335 for my semi-hollow needs. I simply cannot afford anything more expensive at this point in my retirement. My friend with a very expensive Gibson ES-335 loves to come over and play it. Keep up the great videos brother!!! P.S...put out an album and I will buy it...:)

EART guitars are tough to beat for the price. I’ve not played their semi but I keep hearing good things. Thanks for watching. My last CD was in 2017. You can get it from any of the digital outlets, or cheap on Amazon. I could sell you a copy but I can’t beat their price. Thanks.

Top end musicians make there own part sound great whatever they have on hands, I'm certain you'de make a bucket guit sound as amazing you play here or from any brand guitar or any strings attached to something! In short words,, you're a phenominal musician! Thanks for sharing your videos! ☺

Looks like another nice semi-hollow body guitar option, a little higher priced compared to the Sire H7 with humbuckers. I see it on Amazon for about $840. Always great to have options when it's hard to afford a Gibson 335 or 339!

That’s a great price. They’re $1250 at most big box stores including GC. Thanks for watching.

this Hag will put a more expensive 335 to shame.

Great sounding guitar. But at $1200.00 at Guitar Center I will have to stick with my Squire Starcaster Considering I just bought a Gibson Les Paul Special. Great playing and Video.

Nothing wrong with that. I will say the Hagstroms, like most Asian built imports, don’t hold a ton of value if you ever want to shop used. Thanks for watching.

So, if I was in the market for such an instrument, that would be a great choice!! Great sound. Great playing as usual! You weren’t playing through the Deluxe?

I just decided to change it up. In future I may demo some things through both, at least until I no longer have both. But I’ll continue to try to offer variety

Nice guitar. Never owned a semi - does it really make much difference since most the tone is coming from the pickups? Is the PRS amp a new acquisition? You usually play on the fender.
@leonardgriffieblues5845 Жыл бұрын
Pickups are important, but the guitar itself has a huge influence on the sound. Yes, semis are different. And full hollows are different from semis. Almost everything about the construction has an affect. That said, the more you process the sound (gain, effects) the less difference it makes.
