Holly, could you please tell us the ribbon colours corresponing to 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc as it is clearly different to Ireland & UK. I love how well you two are doing this season, it's as if all the hard work and training sessions over the previous two seasons somehow gelled during his break and he is maturing into the competition horse you intended. I so enjoyed the recent cross country schooling session and look forward to your upcoming combined training then your eventing competition.

Hi Holly -- Thanks for taking us along to the show! Congratulations on the ribbons! When I see Rocky shaking his head after a fence -- I can't help but wonder about the reason he does it. Otherwise, he always seems so compliant and eager to please -- the head shaking kind of seems a bit rebellious -- but is it really? Does he not like being taken back after the fence? I'm tempted to ask if he might need his teeth floated -- but -- (and I'd have to go back and re-watch all of his videos to be sure) -- he only seems to be shaking his head after the landing. Anyway -- I'm guessing you already have it figured out. I'd love it if you could share your analysis of that behavior in one of the future vlogs. Sending my very best regards to you and Rocky from North America. JV

He has his teeth floated regularly, so no issues there. He just does it because I want him to slow down and he wants to speed off ☺️

Holly try another nose band on him, he is trying to open his mouth but can’t, he may feel better not shaking his head. He is such a lovely horse.

Holly has two show jumping horses in Ireland and jumps one of them at Grand Prix level. She bred and produced these horses herself. I think that she is capable of doing the right things with Rocky. Holly is also an equine vet.

Yes it’s a shortened course which is timed to determine the winner ☺️

I haven’t officially advertised him yet, I wouldn’t let him go until December at the earliest. I’m actually thinking of keeping him one more year now because he’s going so well 😂
