Well I am bound to point out Jools that your idea of the 7.5 ton wagon will not work out,because the people who buy your place will want to move in the day you get the money to buy the scottish place so no two weeks to move stuff,its a good idea the 7.5 ton truck I have done it but I hired a big storage locker local and moved stuff into there two weeks before compleation😄

I've got my business unit that I can put the house into if needs be, but I think we have decided to go with one of the house movers - costly - but easier all round!

Spent 2 weeks over there, back again now, did a bit of work and off again, sorting out the house ready for the move!

do you really want to be humping your stuff out the house into a truck, then driving 6 hours up to scotland, emptying said truck after driving how many hours to scotland, then driving all the way back to do it all again, or how ever many times, is the price for hireing a truck and to do it ya self cover insurance for your belongings if anything goes wrong, anything could happen, you could trip and twist ya ankle or hurt ya back or something worse, heavens forbid, then what do you do, what ever you decide i hope all goes smoothly 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
