Love what you ian aka nipper. Your a lucky man. I had a 143 year ago which I started to restore, but work life took over. Was looking after a fleet 7 trucks and 11 trailers, so I was kept busy. I am very happy to say that the 143 lives today that to yourself. As you restored to all its glory walter rolf speck. And I believe it is now in w h malcolm colors. Welcome back Nipper, it's great to see your work again. It's amazing how these "small makeovers" develop into a full resto's. You never know what you are going to find when you start these kinds of jobs. Great eye for detail with the s cam bushes and the painting of all the brake parts🫲

Yes generally the always do mate for multiple reasons ….. one being once the vehicle is stripped you usually find more problems than anticipated & owners realise it’s a great opportunity to get the vehicle back to a great condition

Everybody drools over the big units, 130s and 140s etc, but that little F86 was a good little money earner in its day. I drove several and they were steady and reliable with such comfort and quietness compared the the British offerings of the time in the 70s.😊

You should try a 4-flute end mill to drill the chassis rivets out, will go through them like butter.
