Eddie, a proper day for walking along the coast with all the mare's tails, spray and foam, crashing waves and a fine looking ocean. I could near enough smell the salty sea air. Some beautiful light with those lovely views out to the Blasket Islands👍 A walk like that is good for the soul.

Days like this are absolutely cracking Gerry, it really did have everything. The one thing the video wasn’t able to capture properly was the sound of the ocean, it was thunderous. The light was definitely an added bonus towards the end, capped off a fantastic day, 😬 💨🌊

Great Video Eddie, I've always wanted to be in that area in the depths of winter when the wind was blowing and the sea was rough. We had the good fortune to stay a couple of nights on the Great Blasket in July 2021. We had ample time to explore the Island, the three peaks and right down to the back of the Island overlooking Inis na bró, Inis Mhic Uileáin and An Tiaracht. I put some video of it on my channel showing the house, and the rest of the Island. The weather was beautiful and it was a wonderful experience, almost spiritual. Anyway, great vid Eddie, looking forward to more in 2024.

thanks Karl. yea, the weather on this day was fantastic, it's great to get the high winds and not have the cloud down on top of you. I should have said at the end how getting out to the Great Blasket was right up there with my favourite videos of the year... it's a stunning spot and must have been great to spend the few nights out there. I hope to try something like that over the coming year, fingers crossed.....
