Again!! How does this continue to happen? Like I've never gotten past TSA without a boarding pass. It's definitely doesn't feel like people are doing their jobs at key points in security.

@@eggjewla The ticket isn't anything. Buying the flight is buying the flight. Are you saying the confirmation email you get after you buy a flight is a ticket? That isn't a ticket. It's literally just a receipt. That's like saying when you buy paper towels on Amazon, you get a "paper towel ticket." A confirmation email isn't a ticket. It's just a confirmation email / receipt. Tickets are used to gain entry to things. You get tickets to an amusement park or a museum. To gain entry onto a flight or even past security, you do not show a ticket. You show your boarding pass. There is no ticket. You can use the word "ticket" interchangeably with "boarding pass" … like if you are traveling with someone you might say, "get out your plane ticket for the gate agent." But that "plane ticket" is the boarding pass. It isn't a separate item.
