The painting is Love and Psyche by William Bouguereau so it's actually Cupid (but fully grown!). It was a toss up between Psyche and Eros and this one though as they're such similar paintings

@@charlotte.michelle eros is cupid (as cupid was what the romans called him) , they are one and the same (according to the book i’m reading of greek mythology retellings (mythos by stephen fry) which is why i had the toss up of getting him and psyche as cupid and her as the cherub with butterfly wings & them as their grown greek selves 🖤 i just love it so much!

Did the numbing cream work well? How long did it last in to your tattoo?😊

hey yes it did work well, especially for a long session! Once it's on, it lasts about 4-6 hours, until you break the skin and iirc it's effective about 1hr after breaking the skin ❤️

I love this style of art, though I never go for it cus I don't think I could plan one properly on me. 🥲 Thank you for taking us on this journey! I also admire how brave you are in filming in public!

It’s been so hard to plan because I couldn’t envision the final piece! As it’s patchwork we’ve just broken it down into individual pieces, so I picked 4 to begin with and the placement is finally getting easier the less space I have 🥹 thank you so much 💕

Cool tattoos, worth the pain? How do you know what to commit?

Worth it for me! I would say I'm more casual than most about what I get tattooed as I have so many now, but my main bit of advice is to not rush into anything, really think about it. I have loads of advice on choosing tattoos in the second half of my tattoo tour video on my channel which might help :)

no idea about UV ink I'm afraid! best to find an artist with more knowledge about that. I like colour but it's not for me at the moment. I don't think addicted, but I do love getting them!

@@charlotte.michelleYou can find good tattoo artist that know how to use UV ink. It glows under UV light else not seen. What age did you get each piercing you have? Do you like matching tattoos?
