I know it's not a very popular opinion but Attack on Titan ("shingeki no kyojin") has truly affected me and my life in ways I never expected. Y’all are disappointed that your anime didn’t make number one, but think about this. Take any good but modern anime (such as AOT in my opinion). Now, compare that to the mega franchise known as Gundam. Although lots of people like AOT, it is still to early to judge how good it is because the series isn’t over yet, while Gundam has had practically 40 years to age. Gundam is also arguably the grandfather of mecha anime. Therefore, I agree with Gundam being number one, even if it isn’t my favorite anime series

Both Deathnote and AoT are a bit overrated (agree with FA:B), but I can see why people enjoy them. AoT, imo, as an anime, isn't very good. I still watch it, but can't ignore a lot of the faults that reside within it. The manga was at least great up to a certain point, but the anime wasn't good enough to warrant the wait between seasons only to see the snail's pace of story-telling come back to make it's triumphant return, not that the first season was bad, but it conducted the long-waited hype train that I don't feel delivered. The pacing feels a bit off and not enough happens per episode for my liking. With the gap between seasons, they have no worries about catching up to the manga, so I'm not sure why they chose this pace of story-telling. Though my philosophy is always watch what grabs your attention, perhaps you'll like it better than I did (I don't really flat out tell anyone not to watch anything, as I think in general there's very little that's not worth watching, but I give them my opinion). Deathnote was great at first, but had a pretty huge decline in quality story telling after about the halfway point... but I see why it has so many people drawn in, hell, once you hit the halfway point, you can't just quit so easily given how strong the story is to start.

[SPOILERS FOR DEATH NOTE AHEAD] In my opinion, yes, Death Note was amazing at first, and started to decline slightly after the half way point - Specifically, after L died. He was the perfect opposite to Light, and after he was gone, Mellow and N just didn't serve to replace him properly. It was still really great after that, but it just lacked the ingenuity that every one of L's plans and deductions had. It was the story and amazing intelligence of the writing and characters that made me stick with it, and after L died, the most intelligent character was gone. The light just went out of it, though it still managed to be great.

League of Cr1mzon If you liked Death Note, then try Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. It's a great series with 50 episodes; though due to this, it has a slow start but the ending of the show more than makes up for it and there are large twists at the end of almost every episode. I'd definitely recommend it if you are into mind games, war, mechas, politics and evil but classy empires.

My opinions on the animes i love best and you may too? ;o #1: Naruto/Naruto Shippuden #2: Fairy Tail #3: Death Note Naruto/Naruto Shippuden are my favs cuz it has humor, a bit of ~love~ *in the future of course* ;)) and its action, Also there were a lot of tears i shed in this series, it's really great trust me!! Plus it has a shit ton of episodes!! Fairy Tail is second in my list cuz it kinda reminded me of Naruto! It's less serious than Naruto but the humor is great Also, love~~ is an aspect as well;)). Like Naruto, both of these, i feel give out an important message about friendship and how hard work pays off (working together & doing anything for fellow comrades!) Death Note, has to do with a lot of smart tactics , overall u have to watch the first 2 ep. To get attached! It's a great anime with manipulation and action!
