He was a great coach at Florida. He handled the Leak/Tebow QB situation right. The players said he had a great way of pumping you up. His first championship at Florida was pretty much with Ron Zook’s players. But yeah, you’re not going to get longevity with Urban Meyer. He comes and goes. And he always has these medical conditions for an excuse, then he goes on TV and back to coaching when he’s supposed to be burnt out.

You're right. And I'm speaking strictly to his coaching acumen, not the sideshow baggage. He's a great program builder but burns out quickly. He turned Bowling Green around quickly, then left. Killed it at Utah, then left after 2 seasons. Had a dynasty at Florida, then burned out. I was actually surprised he made it 7 seasons at Ohio State tbh. He has a chaotic energy to him that's simultaneously his greatest strength and greatest weakness.
