This is a usual thing, having weather like this where I live, in Russia, the South Ural. Yet we had got some warm days, and the green is just getting sprout out from the earth and on the twigs, and bang! The temperature drops down to near zero. It's such a common thing, here, though, and so similar to Canada that I perfectly relate on your mood. 😁

As I’m not a winter guy, It’s Kind of weird to see snow in May In my country around this time of the year especially May we call it Queen of the season as we can see a lot of flowers in full bloom and enjoy the sunshine. ha ha Wish you a lot of sunshine and flowers soon!

Mark, in the picture that you described as pirogies, these are not pirogies at all, these are pelmeni here (they definitely resemble Chinese dumplings). Are Pirogi like dumplings? I think pelmeni is a slavic version of dumplings… Pirogi or pirozhki is a kind of Slavic pies

It would be great if in the world of English they stopped saying "perogies" and just "perogi". This word comes from the Polish language and already has a plural form. Adding "s" is not necessary. It's like saying "childrens". 😃
