Hey Taylor ... New screener huh ? Hope you Guys got a Powerscreen Warrior 1800. We have a few now at work. They work great. They take a beating and pump out the product. I fed ours a while ago just before the heat wave doing topsoil with thier topsoil screens. Can’t remember if they are 5 or 6mm screens. We are using it now to re-screen our ballast stone from winter screening getting the excess sand out of the ballast before we feed it into our was plant which then separates it into 3 different products (3/8 pea stone , 3/4 round river stone and 1” = 1 1/2 roof ballast ). A lot of the landscape depots love that stuff. We send lots to Ottawa. And Another company from the Ottawa area is in everyday a couple times a day getting stone for there stock. 👍🏻

By blowing the dirt into the filter all it does is force the dirt particles into the engine when you put the filters back on. Blowing them from the inside out is the proper way to clean them!

New screener? stoked to see what model you guys go with. Seeing that asphalt cut job makes me think a smaller production crusher may be in your guy's scope of work in the near future. Considering your land is clearly zoned industrial for recycling, you could haul the broken up cement/concrete/asphalt, rock etc and process on site to make spec materials for your jobs and or resale.

Hello Taylor from Phx , Az. I’m so inspired by your videos and how you share your knowledge of running a business with the world, I look forward to more in depth business fundamentals and business strategies to grow or start a business from you . I’m a new subscriber and have downloaded about a good ten videos to watch while on the OTR during my routine routes as a Knuckle boom crane operator in Phoenix Az , where it’s is currently 119 degrees . Any how look forward to the videos . But can ask can please do a few videos on start up and financial start , how to buy a dump truck or equipment, how to get properly licensed, where to start and how to start with for say a three to four man operation starting out . Also how about what was it like the first six month , one year and then three years in business . Any how great videos and look forward to so much more and yes I watch to very end with excitement in my bones and hanging on every word . My goal for my self is to start a three to four man operation in the concrete / asphalt and wet utility construction with two years of this date . So your insight is very helpful for me and means more to me that it might do for others . So thank you I’m advance .

You should never blow out a filter, it separates the fibers which can allow the dust to get to the cylinders doing damage. Always think price of a filter versus price of a motor and down time. I have learned this thru years of experience and dollars.

window tinting laws are bullshit for commercial rigs tbh, I get it for passenger vics as the odds of someone hiding something or having a weapon in a car is higher, but in a commercial rig, where the officer cant see down into the truck to begin with is bullshit, truckers already rarely commit crimes or hide things, and that's besides the point there is so many places anyways things can be hidden that a officer wouldn't see even if the windows weren't tinted. its bullshit, we sit in our trucks and drive for 10 hours a day, we are entitled to make our workspace more comfortable to work and live in.
