there is a saying in Farsi, which reads A CHILD WHO DOESN'T HAVE THE SING OF HIS/HER FATHER, YOU CALL HIM/HER A STARNGER. Anoushka HAS every sign of Pandit Raviji in her. This was played in 60 by Panditji and Yehudi Menuhin. The replay is as beautiful as the original was. My heartful greetings to you Anoushka.

No doubt Anoushka is very beautiful to her credit. The legendary Ravi Shankars' daughter. Her ability to play the sitar is unquestionable. It takes a lot to be noticed in this age of media. I knew about Nora Jones for years. I just discovered Anoushka and I like her and what she is doing musically.

I remember as a little guy, watching and listening to Ravi Shankar with my father. The sitar is an amazing instrument and I love hearing it. Well I didn't find out until recently that Ravi's daughter played, too! She's very very good with the Sitar!
