The Macedonian folk song and traditional Macedonian dance will be the way visitors are welcomed to the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle.
Folklore students from the secondary music school “Ilija Nikolovski-Luj” bring folklore and traditional to the museum. They have prepared seven scenes that tell the Macedonian history and story of the heroes of this country.
The first scene is dedicated to Dedo Iljo Malesevski, the second to Donco Stipjanceto and Smilevo congress is the theme for the third scene. Goce Delcev is the theme for the fourth scene. The song is dedicated to his sister, when she heard that Delcev was killed. Alexander Turundzhev, Lazar Pop Trajkov and Mirka Ginova are the themes for the following scenes.
For now, they will be performed every Thursday, when the Museum is visited by over 250 Dutch tourists, as well as on Fridays for the pensioners.
