We have been programmed to become fundamentally weak... first through controlled un-education, consumerism, then comfort and then what people think are conveniences, all of this leading to debt and the detachment from the unification of real people and real life, all methods of control. Now the move has been to create chaos, division and the destabilization of all the former norms. They have organized and are fomenting an atmosphere that will create a global catastrophe never seen before on Earth which will probably cause the murder half of the global population (the eugenicists wet dream) and then who is left will be willing to be enslaved to the point of giving up what was once our naturally evolved essence of humanness (that's if we weren't an alien construct in the first place), but we WILL become functionally the cyborg slaves of these overlords who have been chosen to have all the hidden knowledge that WE have not been privy to for millennia .... and still too many of us sit in front of those screens...willfully oblivious and impotent.

His main focus is attacking American foreign policy as the boogey-man for Israel national policy and bolstering communism as that is a Jewish ideology he supports. The reason why his thesis is so flawed and ultimately unengaging is that he is always doing a slight of hand with the evidence. This ancient, or paleoclimate, evidence reveals that current warming is occurring roughly ten times faster than the average rate of ice-age-recovery warming. ^ :NASA

If you think she's bad then you want to watch Emma Barnett on Newsnight. There's seems to have been a change in interviewing style on British news programmes over the last 12 months or so. The interviewer takes a highly combative stance and constantly interrupts. Emily Maitlis from Newsnight also does this strange thing were she asks the question while doing a phoney sarcastic laugh in order to mock the answer before she's even heard it. It makes the programmes unwatchable because the frankly rude behaviour is embarrassing. Don't get me wrong, politicians do need to be brought back on point a la Paxman when they deliberately don't answer questions but there's no need to be rude.

She relentlessly reframes and confines the issue to a narrow discussion of the particular viewpoints and effects of individual--albeit prominent--politicians. The systemic nature of the issues Chomsky talks about are outside, and in fact transcend, mainstream beltway discourse. I think George Orwell's lesser known quote from Animal Farm's introduction, a quote which Chomsky mentions a lot, applies to the interviewer--she received a top education, and so is a victim to elite intellectual pruning.
@josecasillas40818 жыл бұрын
I read his book, and this interview reflected a lot of what he says in his book (obviously given the question he was asked), and particularly on the points relating to trade deals, I think he danced around what he really just wanted to say which was, "the United States and other industrialized nations are just using other, less developed countries in particular as factories to feed its consumer demand through these supposed 'trade' agreements." Even the amount of revenue generated by the trade that happens between two countries, the U.S and Mexico for example, you'd think that money would find its way down to the workers somehow in the form of increased wages, but labor in countries like Mexico is still very cheap. Only recently, since China's workers began demanding an increase in their wages, did China begin to not seem so attractive anymore to foreign investment. And to top it off, as Chomsky mentions, the middle and lower income country participants in these trade deals are the one that suffer the more deleterious effects of these trade deals because they are forced to lower their own standards and enforcement of regulations so that they will attract the investment they need. I though trade was supposed to be mutually beneficial.

I see now why so many americans abandon reason. You're all so full of hate. Your ignorance is so powerful that you would rather a person die than hear what they have to say. I recognise this behaviour, you used to lead us in every way but now I see in you what I saw in my own people in 1992. In December 1989 tens of thousands of Romanians took to the streets agains communism (a system far more oppressive than the US is today), tanks and machine guns fired at them killing hundreds upon hundreds, yet day after day they kept coming. Eventually some military generals simply stopped following orders, they could not butcher their own people. What followed looked a lot like the USA today, people finally had a voice and they, just like you, stopped thinking and started hating. Blinded by hate and a speech not unlike Trumps they voted without thinking. The president and the party they voted for plunged our country into economical darkness, it took us over 15 years to recover from severe poverty. We call that election day "The Sunday of the Blind". Open your eyes. It's true that you have weak candidates, so did we. It's true that the system has been unfair to you but if you reason with hate (as you clearly are) you are just as blind as those who destroyed my country with their ignorance.

This is the ignorance I'm talking about, I didn't say a single thing about the Vatican yet you tell me to shut up about it. You confirm everything I fear, you hate me for things I didn't even say because you don't read, and you don't use your brain. You just hate me for no reason, you have a feeling you should hate me so you just do. Seems like I'm your enemy right? But what did I do to you? All I wrote was a cautionary tale and all I wanted with that is to warn you against something I lived through and you don't have to. But... you don't even read, I'm not sure why I'm replying.

Again, I've said nothing about being nice, I said you're ignorant, which you keep proving you are by not even talking about the same thing I am. You have no idea what I'm saying, you fail to understand. That's why you're not nice, ignorants are violent and stupid, the opposite of nice.

those who posses knowledge control their destiny and the universe. All the central banks, Wall Street, States, and weapons of the world can not posses as much power as those who posses knowledge and common sense. No matter whom Noam meets the world leaders or billionaires he will be always more powerful.

Chomsky s Hierarchy of Languages is a fundamental concept in Theory of Computation. Professor Chomsky is extraordinary. What a treat to be able to listen to him in the recordings. Thank you.
