Details would have been easier to understand if you had the camera zoomed in closer to the marker. Also the white background makes the details of the dark gun seem darker and less discernible. Otherwise super helpful content. Thank you!!!

I have an older 98. But it has been a few years that I have had a chance to play. Thank you for these pointers. Does the Tippmann Triumph xt work about the same way ?

yeah, its got the same internals as a 98, but it's more cheaply made so it's not quite as good as the 98.

So I just got mine today and the safety doesnt work also in the bolt area is there suppose to be a loose black O-Ring? Every time I shoot it just move around

The O-ring is supposed to be there. If you notice it's already in there when he's taking everything out at about 7.5 minutes in.

@@NAT-rd8fl They're joking. 98s have a reputation for being absolute tanks; you can beat the everliving shit out of them and never have to do anything beyond applying a bit of oil once in a blue moon. Usually if you're tearing one down it's to upgrade something, not because it needs maintenance.

Outdoor place near me uses 98s as rentals and when they clean them they literally throw them all in a pile and hose them down with water. That’s it
