In this video, I give a tutorial on basic knife fighting techniques, training drills and self-defense concepts. I teach a basic technique against a basic attack, and then I discuss how to deal with the reality of knife defense and the threat that is being presented. I also explain knife fighting training drills as well as self-defense situations and how to properly utilize these skills. . In the ninja martial arts, knife fighting (a.k.a Tantojutsu) is a crucial part of training. Anyone who is skilled in the art of ninjutsu, should be highly skilled with a knife. This lesson is directly for the practitioners of the ancient Japanese koryu martial arts of the ninja and samurai, such as ninjutsu (ninpo) and bujutsu (budo).

Can you PLEASE do some more tanto videos? I'm to poor to afford lessons for my son & i, so we go to, "KZbin University", since it's free! 😆 I'm a fast learner & I really want to master a tanto, as well as a tactical crossbow, but have to be able to afford it first, hopefully our economy improves, I've been out of work 2 years recovering from almost dying twice from Covid, which severely damaged my heart & lungs, then I was diagnosed with Long Covid, after I "thought" I was getting outta the woods..... Thanks for these videos, you're a great, patient teacher! 💯👍

How would a Kenka Kiseru (Brawling pipe) be used in a fight/ attack?

I did not know that their are laws for street fights I don’t want to go to jail, so I will follow them I think people should cut their nails before doing spear hand to the eyes or Nukite you could go to jail for stabbing a eye ball out.

There are laws for everything. If you stab a man multiple times and all they did was threaten you, that is excessive force and you will go to jail. I get it, you are being a smart ass with your comment on "sparring"... but the reality is, everyone has to abide by the law. You are allowed to defend yourself, but there are laws as to what you can use and what force can be used depending on the situation. So if you are training in self-defense, make sure you understand the local laws in your area.
