(i hated the model series look for some reason i was young and i was foolish okay) but I got into the fandom when the Unlucky Tug's RWS timeline video appeared in my TV's KZbin recommended. The first model series episode I watched was Duncan Gets Spooked after tug's MTAKS on it. I got Awdry's books in may 2021. 26) Do You Keep Up With The Current Series - I watched the first episode when it came out and I watched the episode where Toby returned because it's Toby. Not doing that again. 27) Do You Have Any Head Cannons - Loads. Thomas is a smaller rebuilt E2 due to its wheelbase being too long for shunting. James was specially ordered as a one off because Topham just liked the L&YR's class 28s but was told they wouldn't be built anymore because they were "top heavy." I believe the fan theory that Duck and Thomas hate each other, and the one about Duck having autism. Any steam engine arriving after 1968 (after season 3) was saved from scrap. In real life, they named a railcar which is Daisy's class of engine Daisy after the character. The headcanon is that Daisy is that engine. I could go on. 28) Favourite Piece Of Fan Made Content - If it has to be a fan story, Defenders of Sodor of T:TTA by ilovetrains323. If it can be anything, The Unlucky Tug's Sodor's Finest on Duck 29) Unpopular Opinion - Hero of the Rails is extremely underrated (ik, nostalgia bias) and The Trouble with Mud is the worst episode of Season 1 - 5. Also out of Seasons 1 - 5 + Tugs, Season 3 is the worst.> 30) If You Could Rewrite One Episode, Which One And How - Maybe Forever and Ever, and I'd delete it from the face of the Earth. Goodbye!

I don't know if this would be considered a head cannon, but I've been working on my own series that set in the Thomas universe but it focuses on american engines in the US around the same time as the Railway Series. I do plan on having the Flying Scottsmans tour of the states and Canada be the way the american engines learn about the Sodor engines.

As a kid, I actually thought Thomas was set in America until I was like 4. I thought Oliver and Duck being “great western” meant they were from like Utah. And I thought Sodor was somewhere near like South Carolina.

I've seen "Any coal will do" and I agree that it's a really good story. Also, for anyone who would like to write a Thomas/ Tugs crossover with a Classic era feel, I would seriously recommend listening to "Bigg City Thomas" by Kiefer Adams for inspiration; it truly is captivating and shows that Series 5's portrayal of Thomas, Little Owl (the goods engine/ loco), Puffa and most of the Star fleet would probably get on quite well. Although, given Bluenose's orders- first attitude, I can definitely imagine Thomas and Bluenose going at it hammer and tongs quite often.

My favourite Thomas and friends fan based video is actually a 4 part story. Dudley the vagrant engine. There's something so amazing about this story that makes it my favourite. It shows that a steam engines can be as devious and sceeming as a diesel. I also love how it contrasts with the book Duck and the Diesel engine. We also get to see a story about Bear and we see a caring side to Donald. I also love how people on KZbin have adapted the story in different forms like the railway series format and model style. And Dudley has to be my favourite Thomas and friends OC besides Liz and Ben. Something about Dudley just makes him an amazing character.

Personally I don't think your opinion on Percy's Chocolate Crunch is an unpopular one. I love the episode too to be honest, and although I never got the meaning until you described it, I can easily relate to the annoyance Percy's bad luck is causing him. Plus the sight of Percy covered in chocolate always popped me/caused me to chuckle a little. Also, I love that you're a fan of Carson's Video Workshop as well 🙂

Favorite character, James as well, this guy just has so many funny lines and he almost always makes me crack a smile whenever he's on screen. Favorite episode, Duncan gets spooked. Yep my favorit episode doesn't have my favorite character in it. I just love this episode. I think Unlucky Tug described it best in his video of this episode, but i love it because it leaves almost everything up for interpretation. We're not told whether Rusty's story was real, or whether Duncan did actually see a ghost, it's left for the viewer to decide, and because of that, I love it. Favorite season, 5 No questions asked. Season 5 has a bit of everything, it has funny episodes, action based episodes and slice of life episodes. Favorite narrator, Michael Angellis (RIP) I love his voices for the characters so much. Every character had an easily indentifiable voice even if there was no "said ----" after each line, you still knew who was talking. It's a real skill to be able to do that. Favorite location, Probably the docks, It stayed pretty consistent throughout the show and you always knew that if an episode took place at the docks, you were in for a good time. Favorite theme, The spooky theme from Duncan gets spooked is amazing, and of course the whole score for Toby and The flood. For characters, Percy or James season 1 themes are both great. Funniest moment, The whole beginning 2 minutes of A better view for Gordon. Especially "so what can a big engine really do?" "Not speak to silly little green engines for a start" Its comedy gold :) Least favorite character. Billy as well to be fair. If we're talking about characters introduced during the classic seasons....Emily. I'm sorry but I just never really liked her as much as the other engines. Least favorite episode, Wonky whistle.....god I hate that episode Least favorite season, A tricky one....probably 15. I have memories of seasons 13 and 14 but 15 just sucks. James to the rescue is one of the worst James episodes ever, even Toby is annoying in that episode, and he's Toby! Least favorite narrator.....Pierce Brosnan. I'm sorry but I watched Great Discovery at an age where I was probably 'too old' to be watching Thomas so his reading a story to a child-like voice was pretty off putting to me. Favorite special, Tale of the Brave. It was so nice to see a movie where Thomas isn't the protaganist (if we ignore day of the diesels) It was so interesting to see the dynamic between Thomas, James and Percy. Also this movie once again shows Thomas' maturity since he's the one to scold James and forces him to apologise to Percy. Also using James as the....I don't want to say Villain, so Antagonist was a really interesting choice. Least favorite special, Misty Island rescue. I liked this a child and I cannot tell you why. This film, is the worst kids film...ever. The rhyming is SO annoying, there's whole story elements that just drop off and lead to nothing (yes I'm talking about Thomas' racism towards Diesel) and worse than that, they completely ruined the characters. Every character in this movie is either stupid, annoying or both. Big World Big Adventures at least showed the other engines being worried about Thomas, here, they barely care! Overrated character, Duck. 'nuff said. Underrated character. Oliver! This guy is SO underrated. People love Duck and Oliver is right there! Plus....Toad. Favorite steam character. If we don't use James again, Duncan. I already explained why during Duncan gets spooked, but to put it short, he's funny, entertaining and a really fun character to watch. Favorite Diesel character, Diesel. I don't think anyone would choose anyone except Mavis, Diesel 10 or Diesel here, but for me, Diesel is the best. Favorite rolling stock character. Toad. No questions asked. Favorite Non rail character. Harold as well. His sort of rivalry with Percy is very funny. The insults they throw back and foward throughout the classic seasons are incredible. Favorite Human character, Fat controller too, though Dowager hatt is hilarious during Dowager Hatt's busy day. Favorite Hit Era newbie, Mr Pecival. The little engines getting their own controller was something that needed to happen, and as a character, Mr P is great. Favorite CGI character, Victor as well. He's amazing, he's funny and he's another pretty consitent character througout the show. Favorite song....Troublesome trucks, the original version. I love both versions but the original just holds a special place in my heart. Least favorite song. From the whole show....How does it work. From the model seasons.....probably One friendly family, just a song I never liked. How did I get into the show. I watched a VHS my nan gave me as a kid. I think it was for Season 3? I think the first episode I ever saw was Percy's promise. Do I keep up with the current season? Eh...no? I just watch the episodes the fans say are worth a watch later on after the whole seasons been aired. Any headcanons. Not really? Just not a show I've got headcanons for. Favorite piece of fan made content. Either Mainland Studios The Adventure continues or Journey beyond sodor how it should've been. Both are great examples of what Thomas could've done and both are well made, entertaining pieces of content. Unpopular opinion......Day of the diesels is not a bad movie. Yeah I know, it's really hated but hear me out. This was the first movie where Thomas wasn't the protaganist and so of course it's not going to be the best thing ever. Yes I'll admit that Percy completely abandoning Thomas just because Belle shows up is a little stupid, but he was being manipulated by Diesel so him following after Diesel in order to I guess...fulfill his curiousity makes sense. Percy is naturally a bit dim and sometimes doesn't make the best decisions, so this special for me just teaches Percy that you can't always trust someone. The fact that Diesel 10 compliments Percy and basically gaslights him is also super dark for a Thomas movie. It's not that bad really. If you could rewrite one episode, which one and how? The Phantom Express. We've had a lot of ghost stories in CGI but what makes this one suck is that we knoe that James is just playing a trick on Percy and Stephen. Imagine instead if that was kept secret and we just saw James teasing Percy then cut to him and Stephen at the castle. It would make for a much more exciting episode. One thing I will credit this episode for is it's one of the few episodes in the CGI era where an engine is punished for their actions. The Fat controller's punishment for James is a little harsh, but it would feel more deserved if we didn't know it was him all along. This was super fun. Thanks for the great video. :)

I’d say my favorite themes are Gordon James Oliver Diesel Duncan Stepney George Derek Murdoch Spencer Diesel 10 (CAE) and Stanley/Hank’s themes The Dudley saga is likely my favorite fan made piece of media as of right now A few headcanons of mine for the TV Series universe: -There were six other engines on Toby’s old line (he was #7 already) but when the line was struggling they were sold off or scrapped (the remains of an engine were near his shed) -Proteus was the original #3 of the Skarloey Railway but what happened to him is unknown (still not sure what fate he could’ve had) while the Old Iron Bridge Engine was the original #4 but we all know what happened -Duncan (who’s model appeared in Bulldog) and Freddie were the Mid Sodor’s #6 and #7 while Bertram was the #5 -Rheneas appearing while he was meant to be away repaired was actually Smudger who was restored and bought privately somewhere nearby where he was sent to help out on loan -‘Arry and Bert aren’t feared that much even though they should be after what they did to Stepney because the latter decided not to have anyone else know except Sir Topham Hatt and Rusty -Diesel 10 takes trains to The Mainland a lot aside from handling scrap which is why he isn’t seen that much -TATMR isn’t canon but Splatter and Dodge are shunters at Vicarstown while Lady is privately owned somewhere in the mountains near the Skarloey Railway (as we saw in Thomas’ dream) -Spencer was #2509 Silver Link and the Duke and Duchess took interest in him which is why they bought him and he was renamed Spencer after Bert Spencer of the LNER

Most of your favorite episodes from the classics have James in them. Which is probably why you like them because James is a fun character. I also like Ringo’s narration & Toby and the flood is one of my favorites in season 5. I also hate Billy too, not his looks but his attitude. I also like James as well & as for the first episode I saw as a child. It would probably be Thomas and the guard or Toby and the flood. I couldn’t make out which one I saw first, for Toby and the flood i saw a younger me as I was watching it as my dad was videotaping it. And as for Thomas and the guard, I watched it at my grandparents place. But those two I remember when I was very young. I don’t want to talk about Thomas in season 25, it’s completely opposite to the original. As for favorite location, it would be Brendan docks.

Allow me to share my 30 answers, likes and dislikes. Some of mine may be controversial opinions. 1. My favorite character is Henry. I adore his overarching journey start to finish and is the one I relate with the most. 2. Favorite episode for me is Henry’s Forest. I’d say this is the one that I would relax and take in the sounds and music. 3. I take Season 4. It may not be perfect, but it’s peak season for production values and all. 4. Ringo Starr. There’s something about his fatherly, monotone voice that caught my ears. His ideal character voice to me is Diesel, I love how he does the sinister growling and snarling. 5. I don’t know which is my ideal location. I think I’ll pick Brendam Docks because it’s a really innovative, industrial setting. 6. My favorite theme is Oliver’s Escape Theme. It’s dramatic, orchestral, heart-pounding and oozes Indiana Jones vibes. 7. I’m not sure, so many moments do make me chuckle. The humorous episodes for that debate are No Sleep For Cranky and Thomas the Jet Engine. 8. My least favorite character is Bertram. Why? There’s nothing to him at all, he only appears for 20 seconds, he’s a literal recycle of two characters, and no sort of dialogue or personality. 9. Least favorite episode? Easy. It’s Wonky Whistle. I won’t stand for this bullshit. It suuuuuucks! 😠😡🤬 10. Least favorite season? It’s Season 15, okay. 11. Least favorite narrator? Michael Brandon, he’s an entertaining actor but his character voices are all over the place. 12. She’s always fun and lovable in both the Railway Series and the TV Series. 18. Favorite Rolling Stock? Annie and Clarabel. Their companionship with Thomas is so wholesome and I love their voices in the CGI series. 19. Favorite Non Rail Character? My choice would either be Bertie or Harold. I just their like competitive nature with their rivals/allies, Thomas and Percy. 20. I don’t have a favorite human character. Sir Topham Hatt may be fun, but not my favorite. 21. My favorite Hit character would have to be Hector. He’s totally different from the Troublesome Trucks and has a great dynamic with James. 22. As for CGI favorite, I choose Stephen. As a part of railway history, he’s a cool character to write. 23. My favorite song is the Island Song. It’s a beautiful swan song to Classic Thomas and encapsulates the magic of the show. 24. I’m not familiar with some of the songs of CGI Thomas. My least classic series song is Boo Boo Choo Choo because it’s childish and gimmicky. 25. Well, I started getting into this show since I was born. I got a Take Along James as my first toy and the first season I watched was Season 12. 26. No, I just stopped after it ended in 2021. 27. I have made up my own headcanons for characters with missing potential, but I won’t list them all here. 28. Series 4 is my favourite Season, My favourite characters are Edward, Toby & Skarloey and my favourite location is Crovan’s Gate.

You know what, since I have nothing better to do. Here are my answers: 1. Percy/Skarloey, I am aware both of these characters have some episodes were they are atrociously out of character but in the Classic and Brenner era in particular these 2 are the best. I also really enjoy Donald and Douglas 2. Percy's Big Mistake, yes, a HiT Era episode, fight me. I love how dark the tone is, how Percy's fear is reasonable, the crash is awesome and it's one of the rare episodes were the longer runtime helps the episode rather than hurt it. My favorite episode from the Classic Series is The Deputation, that episode is hilarious. 3. Season 2, the most realistic season of them all with the best narration and it is in my opinion the only season of the Classic Series that does not have a single bad episode. 4. Technically it's Erik de Zwart (the dutch narrator) but since no one will know him I'll choose Michael Angelis, his character voices are amazing, he clearly knows the show and he knows which tone to use for each scene. Plus he stayed with Thomas for years 5. Arlesburgh, the buildings looks so nice and the way the rails are laid out are so unique. 6. The Runaway Theme, you know something is going wrong when you start hearing this theme, also the way it builds up and starts getting more and more intense until the pay off is so good. Mike and Junior are the true masters 7. Any bather scene from Season 5, they are so hilariously blunt and perfectly narrated 8. Marion, what even is her design... and she is so insanely annoying that I pretty much never rewatch Tale of the Brave, I also hate Lexi, Charlie and Billy 9. Forever and Ever, I actually did not hate this episode until one of my friends told me it's a big middle finger to the fans and how they can't do anything about the big changes being made. Gordon is very out of character in the episode and the visuals reach a new level of ridiculousness. A very close second is Push me Pull you. 10. Season 13-16, indifferent about the season, the Miller era does not have 1 somewhat descent episode. 11. Pierce Brosnan, it's really cool they got James Bond to narrate but fun fact, I've never finished The Great Discovery English dub without falling asleep and I have tried 3 times xD. He is very very boring 12. Blue Mountain Mystery, of course when Andrew Brenner steps into the ring of fire that is the Miller Era it all gets so much better. 13. Big World Big Adventures, any explaining necessary? I don't think so 14. James, Duck, Boco, Hiro. These are just examples of fan favorites characters that I don't care for 15. Neil, I love Neil. I struggle to explain why but the fact he was the first ever engine on Sodor and he looks like an unfinished prototype is just so fascinating to me. I also love Lady, yes the movie she was in sucks but if you picture how a magical engine would look, you are not far off what Lady looks like. 16. Percy/Skarloey, as previously mentioned 17. Diesel 10, his design is stupid but I love this character. His claw makes him a true villain, a force to be reckoned with. He can actually kill an engine. Other antagonists like Diesel are not intimidating because they can't do anything, like what is Diesel gonna do to Thomas? Insult him? Bump into him? That is nothing 18. Spiteful Brakevan, the man only needed 2 lines of dialogue and the face does the rest. Also the way Douglas demolished him is so morbid but also hilarious 19. Cranky, how did they give a static crane so much sympathy and a full character arc throughout the entire series? He is super prominent and it makes sense why is always so cranky because he is living an absolute torture. Stuck in 1 place, working 24/7, lonely, no one takes him serious. I'd be pissed as well 20. Sir Topham Hatt, nothing more there is to say that hasn't already been said. He is the engines dad. 21. Stanley, he is one of the best looking model of the entire series 22. Victor or Stephen, Victor is so polite and hilarious with how he calls everybody ''my friends'' and I love his backstory. For Stephen I find it hard to believe that the Stephensons Rocket himself was in the show, and he got so much screentime too. 23. Troublesome Trucks, it's catchy, perfecly fits the trucks, it's awesome 24. idk I have not listened to all of them, not even close... 25. I had DVDs for it ever since I can remember, I think the first episode I ever watch was Trust Thomas but I do have sleepless nights sometimes because I do not know for sure what the first episode I ever watched was. 26. no, of course not. 27. I strongly believe that Edward Strikes Out was written as a James episode since he perfecly fits the role. Since James does not even make an appearance in the episode I believe that his model was not available during production of the episode so they just gave it to Edward since he didn't have any leads. 28. Railspin Splitspace, every single time I rewatch it I find something new that I love about it, it's a masterpiece please watch it 29. I strongly defend the HiT Era and I think Calling All Engines is a very good movie, you can fast forward past the learning segments. 30. I would somehow rewrite Duncan gets Spooked in a way that the audience or the viewer also does not know that the ghost is Duncans crew messing with him, I think that would make for the best ambiguity the show has ever seen. I'd rewrite The great race instead of an episode. Instead of Thomas as the protagonist I'd choose Gordon because his dynamic between Flying Scotsman is way more interesting than Thomas's character arc. Also Instead of taking the steam team the Fat Controller would take his eight famour engine which would be Thomas, Edward, Henry, Gordon, James, Percy, Toby and Duck. Emily would be the one to bring Gordon his safety valve but gets lost ln the mainland. I'd also have more of Spencer in the film so we can see how he reacts to Gordon as the Shooting Star and I'd have Hiro complete at the games so he can have another story with Henry and Spencer. Gordon would be the one who saves Philip from Vinnie. There would be more musical numbers. Edward and Henry would try to talk to Gordon about becoming streamlined. The engine would go to the great railway show at the beginning of act 2 and the show would start at the mid point. And when Gordons safety valve busts, the Flying Scotsman will come back to push him to the finish line. Character arcs. Gordon: He has to figure out his identity and who he really is. Duck: He has to realise that a steam engine can just be as bad as a diesel. Philip: It's better to be himself than someone else. James: He realises that good looks aren’t everything. Henry: He learns that he’s not the strongest. Percy: He must improve his confidence. And finally Diesel’s sub plot would be cut out.

My favorite character would be henry, he's the character that suffered alot and his CGI personality is very quite nice, I had Duncan for a second favorite character because hes portrayed as a funny character. But let me be quick here, you might agree with me when I say this, emily and henry were the engines that changed a lot in cgi same with their faces And guess what's my favorite theme! Henry's theme because the orchestra musicals are very nice And the funniest moment would be in TCC where the diesels check the crates and Thomas says "Hello," the crate goes down and he says "goodbye." (episodes: diesel takes over sodor) My least favorite character WOULD be billy but then he is just to silly, I'm gonna have to go with Dennis, although his brother is Norman being brothers are well, theyre both different from each other and here's the dark story between dennis' removal in the series. The class dennis and Norman was based off of they were all shelved/scrapped, and this is why dennis' character makes him so lazy or why Norman can't have an episode, let me just explain about dennis. Dennis was probably put up for scrap for being so lazy and the history about the class they were based off of was scrapped because they were so dodgy and couldn't work up a lot so they had to scrap them and it's prototype. My favorite episode or the story it was based off of is better because of the designs, I'd have to say edwards exploit its just because it's the last accident be has had and plus they give off so much design to edward and how he has to chuff off without his siderods and they made his footplate broken, it's very nice plus it gives an episode ALL about edward And I can understand why season 12 is your favorite, they embedded cgi faces on the models although it did give us unreturning characters with cgi faces except boco mainly he never returned ever again. And my favorite special would be day of the diesels, even tho percy is portrayed a stupid kid he still has a movie all to himself and its very nice and they gave the diesels a purpose in something for once but the only thing I didn't like about it is that they portrayed flynn as the new stanley and Paxton and Sidney are just portrayed as evil people. Did anyone know splatter and Dodge were supposed to come back in the great race and Derek was supposed to be in day of the diesels because he got confused with Paxton? It's because Derek's class name is paxman. Also my least favorite special is misty island because you can tell why but Ferdinand did appear on a power in STH's office. The most overrated character would just be thomas because he's the main character The most underrated character would be Norman den and dart; mainly Norman because he barely appears in episodes so it's likely for people to not see him as a character, and den and dart because they also barely appear in episodes so it just makes people not see them as a character and the fact they didn't have big roles in steam team to the rescue. Well it would be Toby because he was so chill and reliable until they ruined his character in the CGI series they made him all scaredy and stuff. I have an idea for an epsiode about Annie and Claribel. Annie is upset that she never gets to see whats in front of her because Thomas always pulls her and when he gose push pull Claribel gets to go forwards and see the sights but she never gets to go forwards so Thomas decides to push Annie and Claribel for the day however choas insose.

I would actually rewrite the bwba episode where the elephant helps thomas push through the snow, but the only thing I would change is what gives him the idea. in the episode thomas gets the idea saying elephants helped him when he was in india, and as such, it prevented fans from writing off the international episodes as non cannon. instead I would have him recall the time an elephant pushed henry out of the tunnel, as it would have worked SOOO WELL, and would have given us fans the ability to label the international episodes as non cannon
