The "you don't have to go clubbing to meet friends" advice is really encouraging! I am not a party person and I have never been to such party (in clubs) at all and I am a little scared I might miss out on uni but if it turns out OK and that there are ways to engage outside such events, it's good to know! Thank you for this QnA, Anastazja. I am going to QMUL this Autumn (Sep 2023)!

When does the freshers / induction week start ?

It’s usually a week before classes start. At Queen Mary this year the week starts on the 19nth!

It depends what kind of transfer! If it’s after a year, your next uni might ask you to redo the entire year. While if it’s transferring as in going for undergrad to masters somewhere else, I’d say it’s all about trusting yourself and you’ll manage! :)
