Hi! I'm about a month and a half into my university experience (USA). I recently discovered your videos and have been watching them to get myself motivated to become a better student. Sometimes I slack off and fall into slumps because I'm afraid of trying super hard only to find that my 'best' wasn't good enough. It's a strange mental block, and it might not make much sense haha. No pressure on consistent vlogging! I'd rather have daily-like short vlogs than longer that would require more time for you to film. And feeling weird with vlogging while with other, freshly met people is totally understandable! Man, I'm glad you found friendly people and have some fun. Tip! Fill a small container with tap water and add to it some washing-up liquid. Place your sponge in there. That way you don't have to keep squeezing big dollops of soap on to your sponge. (So random XD) P.s You'll get through about 10 plates with this amount.

Concerning the soap (the dishes soap),u can pour some in any container and just dip the sponge in it so that it can be quite soaked easily and so,it will take less time to do the washing😀Just suggesting and hope it helps

I don't use hairdryer because my hair doesn't like the heat. It would be so dry and flaky. So I only use air-dry XD (Be it hairdryer with no heat, fan, or just natural air)

im really enjoying these uni vids. i love your accent and voice, its so calming! the only thing slightly confusing is when do your classes start? or have they already started? as i live somewhere, where the university system is very different, it's kinda hard to get it.

Basically, here in the UK first years arrive about a week before everyone else does in the first term. That first week doesn’t have normal classes, and is referred to as Freshers Week. The university puts on events and stuff so you can meet new people and learn about different societies. People tend to party a lot as well on freshers week. It can also give you time to sort out any last minute pieces for your room and such, without the immediate pressure of assignments and lectures.

It's really worth going along to the DebSoc debates during term, as they get some really goo speakers! I'd also suggest "lit soc" over "english soc", as the latter is more of a course society and has relatively little English stuff. I also agree you'd love HP Soc and there's an animal welfare/vegan soc too!
