I remember reading a very convincing analysis of Roon on the AL subreddit some time ago. The analysis speculated Roon's psychopathy is due to her existence being based solely around her gun, the triple 203 SK C/34. The idea is that because the only historical design element of Roon to have ever existed is her gun, she is basically just a weapon, and in turn, has the emotional intelligence of one (or something along those lines). This would be true even after 4 PR seasons as most if not all other PR ships are based off of actual historical designs or are a Frankenstein combination of actual hull designs and guns designs/gun specs. This leaves Roon as the only ship who is a gun design + a theoretical hull for those guns.

*A little more info on Yorktown and Hamman:* Yorktown was bombed and the crew was evacuated, but after about a day, the ship didn't sink. Seeing an opportunity to save the ship, the crew went back to the ship in an attempt to save it alonside Hamman with 5 destroyers circling it as an anti-submarine screen. However, the submarine I-168 managed to slip by and fired torpedoes sinking both Yorktown and Hamman. I-168 actually has dialogue about it too.

I read the entry of Roon on the WoWs wiki and found out that pretty much everything about her is made out, from her name to her design so it kinda makes sense why she has these phsycopath tendencies on AL

For Roon I guess I can theorize that it was supposed to be the WWI SMS Roon who saw extreme battles in the engagements she was not supposed to be in. In the end her fate of being scuttled by her own Naval command due to how outdated she became as the war ended, so she acts like a weapon because of her last activity from WWI is just her memories from a different Roon which saved more German ships in her engagements and still received severe damages.

The Bradley IFVs were named after General Omar Bradley, mind you. Bataan (pronounced 'ba-ta-ANNE') was named after the one Death March, wherein one of the survivors later became Head of State and Gov't for 20 years. Say what you will about Marcos, he had been right all along. Why no ship named the infamous Battle of Tirad Pass is unknown.

I might be wrong and late but. If I remember correctly, Her Real life ship. KMS Graf Spee. Is about to run out of ammo. They are in South America near Brazil. And was on their way back. After, convoy raiding until they were intercepted. They fought for almost 4 days? I think before they are forced to scuttle the ship by setting fire on everything. By commander of the ship. The Crew of the ship, survive and fled to Argentina where, the news of the ship was announced and killed himself. It is actually one of the biggest news at that time. Graf Spee is one of the mini Battleship. With Deutschland. This is also one of the major ships that got destroyed pretty early During The war
