Love lunch break but I'm gonna put an unpopular opinion (hope you guys can consider this just as a long time fan feedback).. the set looks "too perfect"... it's beautiful no doubt. But I feel its lost its authenticity. This is the one show where you guys talk casually and unscripted. Just my 2 cents.

Hey guys, love your content but not really digging the new set. It feels too staged whereas the old set felt like just a bunch of coworkers who found a place to eat. It was more casual and I don’t know other people’s offices but at the companies I’ve work at the lunch room is never that elaborate.

I've been watching WF for years now, and have always enjoyed the sketches, shorts, and vlogs. I have never thought of it as 'just Asian content', because the stories, emotion, comedy, etc. speak on a personal level, not restricted to ethnicity. I love your content, and keep giving us more content to look forward to.

As a black dude who’s been watching Wong Fu for 4 years I can say that much of their content is relatable (and enjoyable) to everyone, but they aim to normalize Asians in productions as leads/actors. We need more of this representation in the media and Wong Fu is a medium to embrace this concept. It’s the same thing black people and minority groups strive for and what I respect this channel for

You guys made me realize that I want to see more Asian faces in media. Before I started watching Wong Fu ten years ago, I was used to seeing mostly white faces in TV shows and movies... I thought that was just how things were supposed to be. So when I first saw your shorts with Asians cast as leads, I was shook. Asians can be stars too?! Your videos became so, so important to me because I finally felt like I could relate to the people I was watching. The concept of Asian leads began to feel normal to me (and many other Asian Americans!), and ultimately I think this is a big reason why we started demanding for the same in mainstream media. This past year has been a banner year for seeing prominent Asian faces on movie screens and TVs, and I think you guys were a big part of making that happen. Thank you, Wong Fu ❤️

ive been watching wong fu productions for like 6 years or so now consistently and im not asian and ive also wondered if id be considered weird for choosing their films over others but nope i realize that great storytelling doesn't have to be with characters you physically identify with but rather themes and characters you emotionally feel connected to, these are the reasons i love wong fu and continue sharing their work with friends of mine who are either Asian or not.

I found this channel through the Yappie series! I never saw this channel as "exclusively Asian", I saw it as storytelling. When there were parts that I couldn't relate to (I'm a cis white female) it helped me to understand the experience, prejudice and conflicts that my Asian friends have gone through.

So basically, at the end of the day - Wong Fu is very much a business that has to generate money. Which, not a lot of fans it seems, realize this! It's not enough to watch them on KZbin, but for premium ongoing series content of season 2 for so and so, you have to support them financially for them to be produced. So if you guys want ongoing continuation content of season 2 for Yappie, purchase it. Go to the tours, pay for the tickets, buy their merchandise. Support them on Patreon. Buy their series if it goes on KZbin Premium again.

As far as this being just for Asians, I understand it being for a broader audience. I have to tell you though, I really appreciate your channel because I'm an Asian who is married to a non-asian and I'm living away from my family so I don't have exposure to other Asians very much.
