hey this is an idea: on your next lunch break can you bring in more of the post-production crew? or some of the filming crew that we haven't seen before on the wongfu team? (of course this is if they're comfortable to be on lunch break at all :))

I like Phil as an actor. I think he's a good actor for someone who doesn't act for a living. In past videos, he's mentioned that Wes and Ted were reluctant to be in front of the camera and that him acting was just to save time and resources. I thought he'd say that here too. Lol. I do agree with Phil that out of anyone who writes their own shorts/ sketches, that Taylor appears the most (proportionally).

I would love to see more South/Southeast Asian representation in future WongFu projects. I feel like we haven’t seen much. Usually when people think of Asian, they immediately shoot to East Asians.

i think that would be cool, but it could also attract a lot of negative attention. wongfu's focus (from what I've gathered from watching them for the past few years) is largely centred around storytelling and advocating for asian issues and asian representation. from being in bts fandom for a few years and kpop for almost a decade (as well as kpop stan twitter), a lot of fans seem to take asian representation at face value in an artificial way, toss around words like "fetishisation" very loosely and many are unable to see the deeper issues behind some news (like the deeper underlying issues behind how easily the russian girl is able to debut in the kpop industry bc of her white privilege) and disregard the importance of what many believe in and fight for. bc army is such a strong fandom in numbers, just one video could completely shift the public's expectations and reputation of wongfu. and then there's always the language barrier (':
