This may seem like a silly question is there financing for corporate flight attendant schools they seem to be very expensive out of pocket although I'm sure it's worth it but if they have payment plans ..that would be great I'm a little older and retired drama company but not a old enough to receive a pension but have plenty of energy and like to cook.. if there's an age limit I probably shouldn't apply thanks for your input

I know that there are scholarships that you can apply for but I haven't heard of financial aid. I can look into this a little more as it's not something I have researched

Yes please research this🙂

When you do contract work do you charge a "holiday rate" for your daily rate? lilke 1.5 or double pay?
@JacquelineTravels5 жыл бұрын
There is no holiday contract pay. It’s a competitive job so someone will do it for the standard day rate. The good news is you can deny a trip so you’re not forced to work the holiday

How much did you make when you began being a corporate FA?
@JacquelineTravels5 жыл бұрын
$65k, but that is on the low side. The very low side

Great videos! I was wondering how do you manage work life balance being a CFA? Is it hard to be married and have this career? Do you know of any FA's who have children?
@JacquelineTravels5 жыл бұрын
It takes work but it is not hard, especially if you contract since you have full control of your schedule that way. I do know many CFA's that have children. When I have kids I plan on flying too. Thank you for watching!

Yes we try to take care of each other. We are each other’s trusted resources when we are on the road and away from our families.

I just stumbled onto your channel and I love your sense of humor! I also have a question.. Is it possible to be a commercial FA and then pick up a few corporate contracts?
@JacquelineTravels5 жыл бұрын
Thank you! If you’re a line holder and a contract trip doesn’t interfere you should be able to pick up side contract work! Make sure your airline doesn’t have a no compete clause. I know a flight attendant from UA who regularly contracts. It’s good extra money!
