​@tabryis It's really not, if you think about it a little more. A baboon doesn't know the difference. She doesn't know that something is off, for her that's as real as she would have experienced in the wild, where she would have died decades ago, and probably a brutal death at that.

Cindy is not only the luckiest baboon on this planet, she's definitely one of the luckiest wild animals, on this planet. She has lived nearly three times her expected age in captivity than she probably would have in the wild. That's always been one of my goals, to somewhat domesticate a wild animal. Ruben, you and your family are an inspiration for what you all, do. The fact that you and your brother refer to Cindy as your sister, made me an instant follower of your channel.😁

A Cindy's fan from Spain here 🙋❤. There are a chanel called "Frank Cuesta", you could like it because its also a wild life sanctuary of a spanish zoologist in Thailand. He rescue a lot of animals from illegal traffic, laboratories, abandoned, etc. All them survive thanks to the followers of his channel. Just I think its good idea to tell you all this here. Thanks ❤

I had a brother who was working in South Africa when he died in a town close to the border of Namibia called Aggennys. When we went down to that town, friends of my brother took us for lunch on the Orange River, which runs between Namibia and South Africa, and then we traveled up to springbok, and it was the time of year where the Namibian desert just explodes with color, purples and oranges and reds. It was the most beautiful thing I think I’ve ever seen. Ruben may not want anybody promoting tourism to Namibia, but it is an unknown jewel.

Obviously its always best when they can live in the wild with their own kind, but since Cindy was a orphan that chance was gone but she and your family both hit the lottery by taking her in.
