Your answers to the last question meant so much to me. I’m currently 37 weeks pregnant with my first baby. My body looks completely different than it did 9 months ago. I have a ton of stretch marks and at first it was very hard for me to come to terms with them. The older women in my family have always been ashamed of their own marks. They even told me earlier in my pregnancy when they saw me in a swim suit that I was “blessed to not have any.” Fast forward just a few weeks and now I’m covered. But I now wear them with pride knowing that the growth of my belly and the marks that come with that is evidence that God is sustaining and growing my precious child.

yes wear those with pride!

Amen! Well said! Being a mama and truly seeking the Lord in the raising of our precious children is the greatest work we can ever do because we are honoring the Lord in serving others and impacting a life or several lives for eternity! Instead of focusing on ourselves and our body we need to focus on how we can please the Lord and bless others! From a Mama who is pregnant with our 10th baby💕🙏

Aw yes I can relate to this so much! I’m 35 weeks and thought I wasn’t going to get any but then I hit 25ish weeks. It’s amazing to see how my husband still loves my body despite all my stretch marks. I just remind myself that our little girl is so worth it 💕

Don't apologize for getting too deep into the conversation! Those are the BEST!! IMO I wish ya'll had more content like this, and helping the young women in the Masters Fam understand men (whether they're single/dating/married) is such an important and topic not discussed enough in the church.

How beautifully said!!!!!! The Last answer deserves a standing ovation for the holy spirit for having inspired such an eye-opening comparison of Jesus ‘ scars as a sign of Love with moms’ bodies as a sign of love. Thank you so much, as a mom of 3, I will cherish this forever.

That was really good what you said about the image based questions and your spouse being the epitomy of beauty. We grow with so many insecurities engraved to our minds by culture and media that it is so refreshing to hear how you honour your wives' body
@_devotionart2 жыл бұрын
Is amazing to hear you guys talk like this. I think is funny that as women we (for the most part) grow up thinking that men are very superficial and that they only think about sex and “a type of body” and is actually not like that. We tend to think every single man on earth thinks the same way, and you guys are the evidence that is not true. Thank God for men who really know who they are in Christ and also respect women in a truly beautiful way✨💕

Absolutely loved the part about highlighting how important commitment is in relationships and how important it is to encourage your partner because at the end of the day it's not about rather you love them enough or not but about the strong team and bond you build by uplifting each other through the hard parts of life because anyone can love someone on the good days. Just being thoughtful enough and considerate is what matters just as much. Chad preach on. You are an inspiration 👏🏻🤌🏻🙌🏻

Just read the description. Chad, you always hit the mark with them! I've been thinking about the topic of victory the last couple days and how I haven't been living like God has already won. I don't need to be anxious or worry because of our victory in Christ!

Love this video. I am having my fifth baby and have always felt a sense of pride in what my body has been able to accomplish. Granted I do get the gym almost on a daily basis and feel really good with my health and fitness, but those things are a priority to me and I make sure to fit it in my schedule for my health. I think it’s all about time management and figuring out what’s important to you and making time for it.

Love this. Thank you guys for being vulnerable! Helps to see men being vulnerable. I’ve learned that I respect a man so much more when they allow themselves to be real and not afraid to speak about these sorts of things!! 🙏🏼

I think for us girls I speak mostly for myself. The questioning is not because we don’t trust, but it’s because we want to be included and aware of what’s going on. You hear so many stories of woman whose husbands keep telling them they know what they’re doing an have things under control and then when things spiral, they’re not the only ones paying the price for it but now it’s the previously oblivious spouse stuck with the mess too cause she had to just trust and not question too much.

This was great! Thank you guys for answering some of the more image based questions because it is so good to hear the truth that men who are submitted to God notice but do not obsess over a woman’s appearance. My husband is a godly man and I’m so thankful for him too. It is however something that many women think often due to our heart questions “Am I enough?”, “Am I too much?”, and “Am I loved?”

The Romans had a saying; "Oculi ducunt in amorem." "The eyes lead in love." It IS looks that attract us to one another (and everyone likes a different kind of "look," so don't assume anything). After that, unless you are an incredibly shallow person, it's the whole package that keeps us interested in each other -- looks, intelligence, wit, behavior, the whole nine yards. If you stop and think about it, everyone of us under the sun does it exactly the same way, regardless of being a man or a woman! There's a difference between "confidence" and "arrogance," by the way. 🙂

My experience it's been like a month after talking constantly or so that all the sudden the guys head over heels for me and in love and is ready to move in and get married when all I've done was opened up with my confidence in myself and I care about others around me and I always make it loud and clear to them it starts with a friendship not friends with benefits and sex isn't the first thing on my mind ever I never want to rush anything anymore because nothing has worked in the past so my mentality is if I'm single forever so be it as long as I'm happy with myself and love myself that's all I need as a 42yr old wheelchair bound woman who's been threw all the bad stuff sexual physical emotional abuse I've been called everything under the sun because they wanted me to feel worse than them and it worked for a short time but I'm way stronger now.
