You're a social introvert. I'm that way totally. And I can relate to a heartbreaking childhood. But God is such a faithful Redeemer. In spite of all the bad choices made for me, God came after me with the greatest love. Love so big that I could not deny Him.❤️

Discipline is such a touchy subject now in days. I totally agree with you though. My husband and I have no problem whatsoever in disciplining our boy. He is, however, a really obedient child with great manners and character. Which now that I think about it, could partially be because we disciplined him. Glory to God for the wisdom in raising kids. Anyway, pretty interesting video... in a good way. It would be awesome to know you personally. I’m also an extrovert/introvert. I totally understand

This was so fun to watch, Ashlee! The F-bomb question!!! 😂 I can relate to you because I used to have a foul mouth as well. Random question: Do you live in an equal access state? I ask because of athletics...
@GraceandGrit5 жыл бұрын
Homeschool on the Hill we do not 😭 all of my kids sports are done privately through national or club organizations.
@HomeschoolontheHill5 жыл бұрын
Awwww, I'm sorry. We don't live in an equal access state either, and it makes for quite a challenge with older kids since a lot of rec leagues only go through 8th grade (most at least). I am always praying for opportunities for my athlete (my middle son). He played for a homeschool basketball team this year which was a good experience. I'm glad you've found a good avenue for your kids to compete. I've found that access to athletics has been our biggest struggle with homeschooling. :(
@creeksidehomeschoolers5 жыл бұрын
Hi Candice, what is equal access state mean? We have a homeschool football(age 12- high school) and basketball(age 10-high school) organization that is about 30 minutes away and they travel as far as 2-3 hours for games, a bit pricey as well, but for the most part the team grow together. The only bummer is my kids like other sports like soccer and baseball. I hear they might be adding baseball to the list. So for now we just play for fun!
@HomeschoolontheHill5 жыл бұрын
@@creeksidehomeschoolers Hi there! I was referring to states that have passed some sort of legislation to allow homeschoolers equal access to extracurricular activities within the public school district in which they reside. It's great you have athletic options through a homeschool organization (somewhat) in your area. It's definitely a lot of work to get (and keep) programs like that going. I've been extremely grateful for the organization we have in our area. :)
@creeksidehomeschoolers5 жыл бұрын
@@HomeschoolontheHill thank you! I will have to look into that and see if our state offers that, but I have a feeling they don't. Glad you guys have it through that's awesome!
