When people are so used to one concept like pink for girls, blue for boys and a new one is introduced like the lgbtq+ community they think it's the end of what they know. Being human shouldn't be seen as a crime, there are all shapes and sizes and nobody will ever be as perfect as the movies and beliefs people have. It's harder when it's the people you live with as I learned the hard way. I know I'm not the only one. Edit: the lgbtq+ community isn't anything new, what I mean is when it was more apparent in society it was frowned upon because of beliefs, "it must and only will be man and woman, nothing more." It's bizzare to see how people just judge because they don't like it or it's not "normal."

watching this actually is kinda healing to me personally, especially the part with the communication :) I was in a previous relationship where I felt that I could not say anything without my ex being all defensive and criticizing me (for example, I have anxiety disorder and I don't respond well to shouting, told him not to shout please, instead cool off and come back later, his response "oh, i can't be emotional?? You want me to be a robot?? I'm not allowed to express myself???") and honestly that left me closed off because i rather keep things to myself than experience the defensiveness and turning all the fault to me. Although it's been 6 months since we broke up and I luckily have friends that are open book and I slowly regain my trust in others. Videos like this as well help to learn that it is ok to be openly communicative with my partner and hopefully I can have this perspective again once I start dating :) So thanks!

I like communication...and while I do have trouble figuring out what I am trying to say at times...which leads to an awful lot of Tangents...I do get around to what I wanted to say...those Tangents aren't pointless though, as they're actually me actively processing things, and while it may be a tad annoying that I need to verbalize the process, it helps me stay on track with the overall intention...even if I do seem to get pretty far away from the Origin of the conversation, I do tie it back...and those Tangents are just the steps I had to take to reach the answer...as I don't like giving out answers thoughtlessly...they cause too much trouble. Most people can't handle this process though, and I am actually pretty honest about it...if you feel like I am going too far, just rephrase the question... sometimes that will shorten the process immensely...as it narrows down the things I need to accommodate with my answers. Precise Questions get Precise & Concise Answers, more often than not... I have too much knowledge to sort through to achieve quick answers when the question isn't precise. My knowledge even takes into account how the one asking will respond, and what the possible connections are to their own sphere of comprehension... Basically, my answers are tailored specifically for the one asking...and that takes time...
