No one's face is perfectly symmetrical. The only reason it has become more noticeable of late is because we all spend so much time seeing ourselves represented 2 dimensionally via photographs, videos & zoom. It's not a big deal & people remarking on it are rude.

I would look at it online every day. I finally purchased it at a discount and have been so happy that I did. As far as Botox goes, shame on whoever made the remark about your lips. If you can’t say something nice don’t say anything at all. Geez people are rude. You look beautiful just as you are! I loved the video and hope you do more like these. Thanks for all the great info! It's wonderful, refreshing and very rare to see someone on YT (and other media outlets) who DOESN'T have botox, fillers etc!! I love and appreciate you being the beautiful you that you are - please, stay gorgeous and natural. What is your favourite eyeshadow brand? For me Sydney Grace wipes the floor clean. I love their shadows and the colour stories in all their palettes - they're very well thought out. This was an awesome vid, I loved every second 😊 Love ya 💗💗💗💗 PS : I always watch all the ads in support of you and your channel - well, can you believe that I watched one that lasted 21 minutes?!!! It was incredibly interesting (about planting trees and climate change). I reckon THAT ad ought to be equivalent to 5 normal ads and YT ought to pay you 5 times as much 😉! xx

I have been on vacation, and been traveling for the past month, so I am a bit behind in watching all your content. I will catch up once I return home. The Beauty Pie information was so helpful, as the Indie eyeshadow to try. Don’t do Botox just to have your eyebrows look even. I didn’t even notice the difference until you shared that information with us. If you want to try Botox for other reasons, then feel free. I don’t think you need any Botox or fillers. Btw Jen - you don't have to prove yourself to anyone or compare yourself to anyone. I think I would be happy with just SG singles, and maybe a few CP ones. I have thought of trying other indie brands but haven't felt the need to be honest. And I am another one that thinks you look nice just the way you are. I don't like my wrinkles but am trying to embrace them, I am afraid of Botox anyway. Thank you so much for putting together this helpful video and answering my question! 😍 I'll definitely check out and try your recommendations! Regarding mean comments: Please don't take them seriously, because regardless of what they are trying to imply, you're a perfect example of a natural beauty! PS: I think your reviews of lip products are much more reliable than others, because you have natural lips. Every lipstick looks good on lip fillers, so what's the point in trusting those reviews. It's actually sad that people are so used to injected/operated faces that they start thinking natural features must be "unhealthy" or "botched".
@TheRedDivaTv2 жыл бұрын
The face is never even on both sides, so it's absolutely normal to have things fall differently. Customers obsessed with that over plump or frozen look, demand from greedy doctors to create plastic looking people; but the reality out there, is that the majority of doctors and specialists doing fillers and Botox, will start a new customer, with the lightest amount first, and have them come back in 2 weeks to see the results and add any small additional product that didn't quite give the result that you're looking for. The good thing with Botox, is that it's not permanent, and the results wear off in a few months, so you could check it out and have few regrets, if any. So that's my opinion on that topic, but most importantly: you are one of my favorite YTbers, and i think you're such a naturally beautiful woman, inside and out. Always stay Open to new ideas, and know that a few nasty people out there are just jealous of your kindness and positive energy. Take care! 👍😊💖

The way I clean my makeup brushes is 1) put soap in the cap of the soap bottle and add water, 2) take my brush(es) and swirl it in solution and 3) rinse with clean water. 4) Change water in cap between each use so that the solution is clean. Only takes 1-2 minutes approximately. Pretty basic and simple.

For self tanning, I kind of gave up just because coconut (caprylic trygiceride) based or shea butter based products tend to clog my pores, and those ingredients are in so many products. But if a person doesn't have those issues, L'Oreal and Jergens has some very low key self tanners that kind of just add a bit over time, and I'm really fair so I find they're good. But I do use a heavy cream(Cera Ve) on my legs after showers and a bit of olive oil after to seal on moisture.

Agree with Jen about the foundation shade suggestions. My skin tone is very similar to Jen's and I've definitely experienced what the person who asked the question has experienced in terms of foundations reading grey or yellow or just totally washed out. One of my favorite "hacks" (if you will) is that I have a tube of the Wet n' Wild Tinted Hydrator in medium (which is WAY too deep for me on it's own) but it's perfect for deepening/warming up other complexion products. It's great for helping my favorite complexion products match my tone going into summer when my skin tone will deepen as I spend more time in the sun and then lighten up again as we move into fall. It's VERY forgiving and I've mixed it with a bunch of different things very successfully. I just mix in a small amount on my hand with the foundation/BB cream/CC cream I'm going to use (I like the Missha one Jen also mentioned as well as the Purito one, or that WnW Tinted Hydrator) until I get the level of warmth or depth of tone that I'm looking for. Hope that helps! People are so weird. Who the hell cares if your eyebrows are uneven? (Can't say I've ever noticed FWIW) Mine aren't either and I do what I can to create the illusion of more balance with my brow products but it's never going to be perfect. And I just try to remember what Robert Welsh says about brows: they should look like siblings, not twins. SO many good recommendations Jen! Love this series!
@Beauty-mad2 жыл бұрын
I have exceptionally dry skin. I have spent many years perfecting my tanning. To be fair I only have to look at the sun and I go brown, regardless of the spf I wear! That said, all I do is use exfoliating gloves in the shower, have a good scrub (not to hard obviously!) then i put a rich moisturiser on my knees, feet, elbows, knuckles etc etc. then I buff in my tan with a mit in circular motions on all the other areas of my body, then I simply glide very gently over the knees, elbows etc etc with what’s left on the mitt after doing that area. So it only gets a tiny amount of the tanner on that part. This preventing it developing deeper than the rest and looking patchy and awful. I now do my daughter, a few of her friends and my family too because usually I don’t get streaks or patchy areas. I love the bondi sands mouses, the st tropi (sorry can’t spell it lol) and one o found in my drugstore that had different undertones but it’s a Superdrug one so probably not available in the US.

Hey Jen! Talk about underrated makeup...the Profusion Desert Sage eyeshadow palette (the one shaped like a succulent plant) is on clearance at my local WalMart for $3.25, and its companion snake print zip pouch with the three brushes is now $2.50! I remember wanting these items when you first showed them awhile back, and I still want those blues and greens in the palette. Even though I spoiled myself with the new Nabla shadow kit immediately when you showed it a few weeks ago, the Profusion sets stayed with me so I've made room for more...just glad these are makeup items and not new kittens, or shoes at Nordstrom, or another Brahmin bag, or...Anyway, love this video, and thanks for your energy! You look beautiful today, as always, but that color sweater should be named for you! PS since we are into Summer, I'm always looking for *new tinted lip balms with reliable SPF higher than 15.* I know about Neutrogena Revitalizing Lip Balms, and I can always put on clear SPF balms, but I'd really like *more color choices.* I've used some by SunBum, but they taste like burnt plastic. A good way to simplify your skincare routine is to get a good serum in a cream. Like It Cosmetics hello results , korres volumizing serum in a cream and even Olay has one.

I think a NuFace could strengthen the forehead muscle on your left side. It might bring the left eyebrow up some. Angie Hot and Flashy uses her NuFace a lot. It keeps her face taut and lifted. I think you’re beautiful the way you are but just a thought. I love your videos, so helpful.

Hi Jennifer! I thought the same thing so I went and got a NuFace and it actually was working! But then I started to get heart palpitations from the device and it scared me! I ended up having to go see a cardiologist and I guess some people's bodies are sensitive to the electric currents and it can affect the heart (since then I've seen a few KZbinrs complain of heart issues also). Ugh the things we do for beauty! It just sits in a drawer now...$400 down the drain. 😕

Oh my! Well I’m glad you’re ok. I think you’re beautiful just the way you are. In the past, women who made quilts always included some imperfection in their quilts. They did this because they believed that only God, in Heaven, was perfect.

I bought three of the Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream until I found that Japan Fusion moisturizer. It is excellent for my dry skin! I’m going to try the Japan Fusion cleanser.

Right?! It's such a great moisturizer! I got a few small sample jars of the Tatcha from Sephora and by the time I was done using them I realized it was so similar to JapanFusion that I never got the full size. :)
