Honestly even through a lil screen, you’re such good company. I’ve hit such a low point and your videos help so much. I’m gonna write it here so that I follow through with it: I’m gonna have a little bit of chocolate to make up for my difficult meal, and then share something I struggle to eat with my grandad! X Update: I followed through

I feel like I may explode if I don’t say this lol, but Ro, you are an incredibly kind person, it in NO way makes you rude to address people who are quite literally ignoring the "boundaries" you have set in place or explained. Maybe I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure you’ve mentioned the fact that your PTSD is a difficult topic multiple times, and I’m sure I can remember you saying that you don’t feel comfortable sharing those things on the internet right now, so I honestly just can’t comprehend why people would still bother asking? Clearly there’s a reason you don’t speak about those things😩 anyways rant over, love you roisin❤

From my experience with EMDR treatment for my PTSD, I healed completely and don't know whether it's actually from the treatment or some mental clearance. But I got that treatment back in 2019 and am fully recovered from PTSD since 2021. I still do have the memory and some triggers that make me think back to the trauma (locations, stepping in a car, social media apps, men, etc) but I don't avoid or react to it, just a flash of the trauma and I move on. Hopefully your results with EDMR are similar to mine or yet even better, because going outside and doing things is so much fun!!

I'm doing my a-levels right now (well, the equivalent to them, where I live). A lot of people around me are struggling with their mental health and so am I. I wish I could drop out but I can't. You are the first person I have heard acknowledge that not everyone is meant to do their a levels and that having mental health problems or mental illnesses can make the process of getting them really hard or even impossible

RE the meal plan question - my mental health nurse used to tell me to add extra food if I am hungry for it and to use my meal plan as a minimum to eat in a day, because I was outside of the danger zone for refeeding syndrome when my extreme hunger kicked in. I did get my meal plan increased eventually too because the first one wasn't enough to make me gain weight, as you need a lot of energy for your body to repair. It is totally normal to really hungry during this point as the primal part of your body/brain is registering this as the end of a very long time where food wasn't available

Hi! I don’t usually comment but I thought I would anyway because your channel means a lot, I have very recently started ED recovery and it’s extremely difficult, so much more so than I thought, but your videos seriously motivate me. Every time I feel food guilt, I’ll watch your videos, or every time I have that inner debate of whether or not to eat. Some of the things you’ve said in your videos have really sparked some kind of recovery light in me, as weird as it sounds, and motivated me to push further. Like every kind of feeling I have had these past days as I begin to recover I feel as though you understand and it’s really cool to know I’m not alone basically :)

I haven't watched your videos in a while (about a year) but I thought about you today and was wondering how you've been doing so I clicked on this video. When I first started watching your videos, you were recovering and you were having a really hard time eating food. Around that time I was also having trouble eating not because of the same thing but because of anxiety and depression I always felt sick and couldn't eat much. I lost like 30 pounds and decided I wanted to try and start eating again before it got too bad so I came across your channel. I would eat with you so to speak and seeing you struggle but still push through it and eat your food really helped me eat again too. I just want to say thank you so much for helping me through the hardest time of my life and helping me get my life back on track food wise. 🥲 I can't believe how much you've changed since I last saw one of your videos and I am so SO proud of you!! The lump in your throat was probably a gland/lymph node which will swell when your body is trying to fight a virus or infection and paracetamol will usually help to reduce swelling. I'm also doing EMDR and I know one other person doing it but they're ahead of me in the process. They've seen huge positive changes and it's really spurred me on to keep going with my treatment for C-PTSD. I'm so hopeful it will help. I'm so pleased it's helping you!

You’re honestly such a comfort to watch Ro 💛 I really appreciated hearing how Brandon adapts & encourages you to follow through with plans, even if they might be anxiety provoking. I’m still processing a really shit break up and constantly battling with the thought that my anxiety ruined the relationship, because my ex (when he left) made me feel like I wasn’t fun enough, or I’m flawed bc I can’t do things that “normal” people do, as easily. So it warms my heart to know there are people out there that will love us despite our struggles and help us be included. I’m so glad you’ve found that love 💛 p.s so glad emdr is going well, you’re amazing P.p.s I am ramblingggg, goodnight x

Hi Ro, I remember I watched your very first video like a year ago, i don't have any ED, but I remember I watched that video and think: "I hope she can get to the point she wants to, I hope she can make it" And voilá, after a year I came back to your channel and it is amazing to know you finally made it. Recently a friend of mine was diagnosed with Anorexia, and I don't really know how to help her, I'm scared of doing something bad. What if I say something that works like an aid for her in my mind, to only find it triggers her the more? I would really really really appreciate if you could make a video talking from your perspective on how someone with an ED can be helped.

Two things: - if you leave your hair mask on and then rinse it off after you have washed your skin know that can cause backne. I used to have a lot of acne in my shoulders and back and after I started washing my skin after rinsing my conditioner it completely cleared. - you are looking incredible these days. So mature and gorgeous, it is so great to see how far you've come.

Havin a VERY rough PTSD day/week so im happy with a new video , and I'm also really baffled that people acctually thought it was ok to ask about the causes of your PTSD. Like, do they have no respect?

I'm so glad EMDR is working for you! I have gotten the advice to start emdr too, to process my (childhood)trauma, but im really scared to start it. especially just...talking about what happened and my feelings. Does anyone have any tips? I really don't know if it'll help me. Also I just HAVE to mention how much i love your new hairstyle! the bangs look super cute!

My mom is a therapist and also does emdr and I hope I get this somewhat right but I don't think that you need to be scared. When it comes to talking about your feelings or what has happened it's often easier because there is no need to linger on specific moments or thoughts but you very much rather jump to the next thing that comes up. You kind of don't take a deep dive into a specific feeling and let it overtake you if that makes sense to you. Also if you don't want to say what comes to mind you don't have to, emdr works regardless. The cool thing about emdr is that it is very effective and a very fast way to process trauma without it being overwhelming even though you process a lot. I do hope that you have a good therapist and that you feel comfortable with them. I hope that helped a little bit. Good luck with everything!
