You are special, unique and gifted in so many ways and an inspiration to many of us that appreciate who you truly are…a brave beautiful warrior woman with goals and visions regardless the mission you plan and conquer no matter how many fails…which are not fails but lessons learned. My beautiful granddaughter also has ADHA and dyslexia yet she’s loves painting and drawing…a gifted talent within her. Thou, she struggles she’s very quiet and prefers being alone then being around crowded areas…but she’s only 16 years of age but her mama is focus in helping her complete at least a ged and walk her through each process within her now and future goals. I thank you for being you…God bless🕊

So my age guess was between 28 and 30. But I think 30. Ethnicity, I cannot tell a lie, piqued my curiosity. I'm Canadian as well, Toronto born and raised, and kept thinking Guyanese. I think we wonder simply because it's such a melting pot. Love hearing about the different backgrounds of people. Thanks for sharing just enough without getting too personal because you deserve to still have a private life like anyone else. My 9 year old also has ADHD. You gave me some ideas of things I can share with him as he's getting older so thank you for that as well. Thank you for all your videos!

This was very interesting, thank you for answering all those nosy questions! I find you relatable in so (SOOO) many ways, I don't think I have ever had anyone correctly guess my age or ethnicity, but it seems to be important to strangers to know these things.

I would say you’re in your late 20’s, someone said 28-30 and that sounds right to me. I also always thought you were Pacific Islander or Native. But honestly, you are very striking, and I love your energy. It’s very calming. You inspired me to work on things in my own home and I appreciate it!

Rachel and Jun (KZbinrs) had their own house built in Japan and the decision process for types of flooring and everything that went into the process, just wow. They basically had to learn about everything to make the best decisions while balancing the cost and the durability of the materials. They shared a lot of their process in their vlogs. They did leave a few projects to DIY themselves but not to the extreme that you want to do yourself. They also love to garden and will be posting a video of them planting some trees and plants they recently got at a tree festival in case you want to check that out. They haven't done a house tour video yet because they took some time away from KZbin to focus on the move and setting up their home.

I don't know if you'll see this because I'm watching this video almost a month after you posted it. I am a 59 year old woman with depression, and I so appreciated you talking about your ADHD. While not the same thing, I could still relate to some of your struggles. I hope that you are able to find that work/life balance. You deserve it and I belief your work will actually be even better for it. You inspire me in so many ways. Thank you.

I appreciate the authenticity that shines through in every one of your videos. It was so fun to learn more about your background and I almost feel like watching your videos is like spending time with a friend. As someone working in the corporate world and wishing I could pursue my true passions like you are, I think it's so refreshing how transparent you are with us and it's so important that you take time for yourself to stay content and inspired. Have that work/life balance that you deserve and truly feel fulfilled. Whatever that looks like for you and however your journey transpires, I'll be here keeping my eyes peeled for that video uploaded notification 😀👋🏻

Somebody once asked me to explain adhd to them and I think I gave a pretty good analogy, let me know if you agree. So imagine, your life everything same old you. Only everything is either x10 speed or 0.1x speed. Basically everything around you is either going so fast or going way too slow.

Thank you for sharing! I also have ADHD and I just wanted to comment in solidarity with your decision to care for yourself by doing less. I understand having to make that choice, even to do less of something you love, for your well-being. So I’m glad you’re doing that, because it is so counter-cultural, and I think it’s brave to be vocal about it. Thanks for being vocal about your ADHD! That’s one of the many things I love about your channel, along with how crazy creative you are!

Some KZbinrs I watch edit with an app on their phone and even add subtitles that way in two languages. As someone who has only used Final Cut Pro, I'm impressed an app on a phone can do all that.

I love this video! Part of the fun is figuring out how to diy. The other part is after you're done, " Look, I did it!" I think people underestimate how long it takes to do a big diy that results in a 10 minute video. I would enjoy any kind of video from you, like just chatting or whatever. My guess for your age is 38 because then we'd be friends in real life because we grew up together ha.

It may be helpful to get a notebook designated to ideas you have. When ur done with one u can start another one. If u decide u no longer want to do some of the ideas thats also normal artist behavior. Ur an artistic person and most of us deal with what ur describing. Idk that non artists shld be diagnosing artistic ppl. U may also want to read the artist's way. It may validate some of ur tendencies and make u feel better. It also offers strategies for focus from what ive heard.

It sounds like you need to figure out how to streamline the editing process. 12 hours is a lot for 1 video. If you could get that down to a manageable amount of time, there is your free time. Is having someone else do your editing an option? You are awesome, you are 100% right to go for that work/life balance.

What a refreshing video! Just discovered your channel and I'm so glad I did. I used to dream of doing whole house make-overs like you do; now I enjoy vicariously by watching others do it on You Tube or DIY TV. My guess for your age is 30. I figured from age 18, 4 years for college, 1 year for job hunting, 6 years for your corporate job and 1 year from quitting your job and beginning your YT channel. So...18+1+4+6+1=30 (but you look 24ish)!

Not so much answers for me. More of an affirmation for you. WISE to look at the style house that staying power rather than the current trend. Also the direction a house faces and why. Both excellent things to do, that most first time home owners don't take time to do. So you go, girl! Or waiting to learn the CORRECT skills to do it rather than slap it together quick. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
