I'm more than happy with your content, I love your hiking and outdoor cooking content, I have plenty of other channels for bushcrafting and prepping; leave well enough alone! Congrats! I'm a pretty new subscriber, although not a new camper. I'd add that when I've taken people camping the first time, I help them set appropriate expectations, so I tell them what we're going to eat and what the bathrooms will be like and what they should bring (they tend to laugh at my packing list and then are sad when they forget something). And also, having the right layers for the possible conditions is important, so you don't end up sitting around cold and miserable.

I too am a sleep diva, hate scary or high anxiety media, and put very high value on what we’re gonna eat when camping/hiking! Congratulations! PNW is very cool, also recommend Canadian Rockies. East of Calgary is a park called Dinosaur Provincial park and you can spend a full day with a paleontologist in the field (otherwise they ask guests to not go off trail etc) and there were so many dinosaur bones and other fossils we got to see and "dig" for. If you are into fossils I definitely recommend that area!

... Congratulations on the 100k award ,, you deserve it .. I have been watching for a long while and enjoy the trips and interests throughout the video's .... I love your cooking segments with all the different meal types and methods ... Always interested in trying something different ( have been camping ,, hiking ,, and backpacking since the mid '60's and things tend to get a little stale just because it works ..)... In your reply to viewers getting new camping or trail partners,, start with car camping as you mentioned in proper campgrounds for a few weekend trips ,, but plan activities as well , not just hanging around the tent ... in time maybe introduce backpacking into the program , not everyone will jump on board with the idea of leaving the comfort of the vehicle close by ...

Hey Amanda, congrats on 100k! 🥳 I traveled through Central America for three months this this year and took two weeks of Spanish school at Lake Atitlan Spanish School in Guatemala. I really enjoyed the school and would highly recommend. I also picked up quite a bit of Spanish just while traveling and immersing myself. I’d like to become fluent as well but you’ll be surprised at how quickly you pick up the language. Good luck!

I'm with you on the scary movie/intense movie front!! LOL, can't handle it!!! Also a sleep diva here! On my last camping trip, I tried the loop ear plugs and they were a game changer for me! My sleep at camp had never been better. They were very comfortable to sleep in, I wasn't totally deaf, but it definitely helped calm my anxious brain from overreacting at every noise in camp! Looking forward to what you put out next!! You inspired me to try campfire cooking! I've always loved being a bit extra about food while camping (I think I got it from my aunt and uncle) but I had never tried using a dutch oven or even just cooking over coals until I watched your content! It's been super fun to learn and experiment! I am planning the menu for my next camping trip and I am very excited about it!

You need to come to the PNW, it's where we live and it's amazing. Columbia River George is a must. We still own and use the blue canvas tent I used grown up. I think because it didn't sit in a garage with no use it's still thriving. We added a hole for the heat stove for the winter we do❤️ Great videos, congratulations on your success 🎉
